[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The Foot and Ankle Outcome Score (FAOS) was developed as a self-administered survey instrument to assess the disability of the foot and ankle and associated pathologies, often including ankle instability after severe ankle fractures, achilles tendinosis and plantar fascitis. It is a measure that incorporates both subjective scoring as well as objective scoring. The form can be used over short and long intervals for week to week changes and during key interventions such as medications, operations, physical therapy and worsening pathologies such as admissions and hospital discharges. It can also be used over timeframes as long as a few years.
