The SCI-QOL Stigma
Assessment of perception of discrimination and prejudice among individuals who effected by spinal cord injury is the main objective of SCI-QOL Stigma instrument. It covers the area of assessment for Mental Health, Quality of Life, and Stress and Coping. There are 23 items on the calibrated item response theory (IRT) which can be administered in a short form method or computer adaptive test (CATs). The short form consists of 10 items, while CATs consist of 4 to 12 items depending on the accuracy and time. Among these are 5 newly generated items and 18 adapted items from the Neuro-QoL measurement scale. It usually takes less than 5 minutes to complete the test.
