The amount of dissolved oxygen in a water sample is measured using fluorescence technology in this portable, easy-to-use probe. Measuring at a range of 0-20.00mg/L or 0-200% saturation level, this probe is manufactured in strict accordance with the international standard of the ISO 9001: 2015 quality management system.
A green LED light irradiates a red fluorophore within the probe. The quenching properties of oxygen in the water sample reduce the lifetime of the red fluorophore, producing an inversely proportional relationship between dissolved oxygen content and red fluorescence, this can be measured to mg/L or percentage saturation level.
