[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The Hip and groin outcome score (HAGOS) was developed as a self-administered survey instrument to assess the disability of the hip and/or groin and associated pathologies. It is a measure that incorporates both subjective scoring as well as objective scoring. The form can be used over short and long intervals for week to week changes and during key interventions such as medications, operations, physical therapy and worsening pathologies such as admissions and hospital discharges. It can also be used over timeframes as long as a few years.

HAGOS includes 6 key subscales: Pain, other Symptoms, Activities of daily living (ADLs), Function in sports, Recreation and activity, Participation in physical activities (PA), and hip related Quality of life (QOL). Questions are answered with a score from 0 to 4.
