Harvest date depends on actual growth

Set an initial harvest date based on projected growth, but revise it monthly as actual sampling data comes in. Growth rate tracking tools can help.

Coordinate market access before harvest

Confirm buyer commitments and transport logistics at least 2 weeks before the scheduled harvest date.

Grading reduces short-term feeding

Fish should be fasted 24–48 hours before grading to reduce stress and waste. Plan feed inventory accordingly around grading dates.
