Twenty-three and twenty-five lines in a page.</p> <p>Part of a large Commentary (ممزوج) on the first book of the <em>Ḳ&acirc;n&ucirc;n</em> (الكلّيات) , by ḲUṬB AL-D&Icirc;N MAḤM&Ucirc;D b. Mas&#39;&ucirc;d b. Muṣliḥ SH&Icirc;R&Acirc;Z&Icirc; (d. A.H. 710). Cf. Ḥ. Kh. iv. 498; Casiri, i. 291; Cat. Bodl. ii. 160. This commentary is called التحفة السعدية , from its dedication to Sa&#39;d al-d&icirc;n, Waz&icirc;r to Sultan Khud&acirc;bandah.</p> <p>The preface begins: انّ اولى ما افتتح به خطاب الخ .</p> <p>Written in various hands, often without distinction of text and commentary.
