The first biography is that of Shaikh Burh&acirc;n-ald&icirc;n Muḥammad bin Maḥm&ucirc;d bin N&acirc;ṣir, commonly called Alghar&icirc;b alh&acirc;nsaw&icirc; ( الغريب الهانسوى ) .</p> <p>Beginning: نحمدك يا من تقدّست ذاته عن شوائب الامكان و تجلّت صفاته فى مراتب الاكوان و نصلّى و نسلّم على حبيبك الخ .</p> <p>At the end of the short sketch of the author&rsquo;s life (relating his various travels and his pilgrimage to Makkah and Mad&icirc;nah in A.H. 1150-52=A.D. 1737-1740) a ḳaṣ&icirc;dah by the same is added: قصيده در بيان شجرۀ بزرگان روضۀ منوّره قدّس الله اسرارهم &lsquo;</p> <p>Beginning:</p> <p>زبان خامۀ مشكين كند بنام خدا</p> <p>بيان سلسلۀ اولياء روضه ادا</p> <p>No. 1814, ff. 1-23a, ll. 21; clear Nasta&rsquo;l&icirc;ḳ; size, 91/2 in. by 51/2 in.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
