Dimensions: length, 235 mm; width, 152 mm; height, 146 mm. Notes: RLA catalog no. 1979rp9 (cast). Cranium. Kabwe 1, also called the Broken Hill skull or Rhodesian Man, was discovered in a lead and zinc mine and assigned by Arthur Smith Woodward in 1921 as the type specimen for *Homo rhodesiensis*.
