Walrus Ivory Plaque

The panel is oblong in shape with raised borders. The borders are pierced with eight holes, indicating that the panel was attached to a larger object. The panel shows the figure of Christ resting upon a [suppedaneum](https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/suppedaneum) beneath the hand of God. The cross has raised borders with the symbols of the four Evangelists shown at the corners of the plaque.
