Criação de banco de dados de imagens de satélite para detecção de veículos

<p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Este projeto de inicia&ccedil;&atilde;o cient&iacute;fica visa o desenvolvimento de um banco de dados robusto de imagens de sat&eacute;lite, com o intuito de aprimorar t&eacute;cnicas de detec&ccedil;&atilde;o autom&aacute;tica de ve&iacute;culos. A pesquisa &eacute; conduzida sob a orienta&ccedil;&atilde;o do <strong>Prof. Dr. Andr&eacute; Luiz Cunha</strong>, contando com a participa&ccedil;&atilde;o ativa dos pesquisadores&nbsp;<strong>Luan Andr&eacute; Contel</strong>&nbsp;e&nbsp;<strong>Crhistian Emilio Ribeiro</strong>. O projeto destaca-se por sua relev&acirc;ncia no campo da detec&ccedil;&atilde;o de ve&iacute;culos por imagens de sat&eacute;lite atrav&eacute;s de t&eacute;cnicas de vis&atilde;o computacional e deep learning e suas potenciais aplica&ccedil;&otilde;es em planejamento urbano e gest&atilde;o de tr&aacute;fego.</p> <p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Financiado pela <strong>Universidade de S&atilde;o Paulo (USP)</strong>, atrav&eacute;s do programa de bolsas PUB, o trabalho representa um avan&ccedil;o significativo na utiliza&ccedil;&atilde;o de tecnologias para a de detec&ccedil;&atilde;o de ve&iacute;culos para solu&ccedil;&otilde;es inovadoras em mobilidade urbana. A iniciativa n&atilde;o s&oacute; contribui para o desenvolvimento acad&ecirc;mico dos envolvidos mas tamb&eacute;m para o progresso tecnol&oacute;gico na &aacute;rea de sistemas inteligentes de transporte.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>This scientific initiation project aims at the development of a robust database of satellite images, with the intention of improving automatic vehicle detection techniques. The research is conducted under the guidance of <strong>Prof. Dr. Andr&eacute; Luiz Cunha</strong>, with the active participation of researchers <strong>Luan Andr&eacute; Contel</strong> and <strong>Crhistian Emilio Ribeiro</strong>. The project stands out for its relevance in the field of vehicle detection by satellite images through computer vision and deep learning techniques and its potential applications in urban planning and traffic management.</p> <p>Funded by the <strong>University of S&atilde;o Paulo (USP)</strong>, through the PUB scholarship program, the work represents a significant advance in the use of technologies for vehicle detection for innovative solutions in urban mobility. The initiative not only contributes to the academic development of those involved but also to technological progress in the area of intelligent transport systems.</p>
