<h1>European Union: OpenTender</h1> <p>The <a href="https://opentender.eu/start" target="_blank" rel="noopener">OpenTender</a> platform – run by the <a href="https://www.govtransparency.eu/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Government Transparency Institute</a> – collects, transforms and publishes contracting data from 35 jurisdictions: 27 European Union (EU) member states, EU Institutions, Georgia, Iceland, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland, and the UK. The data come from <a href="https://ted.europa.eu/TED/misc/aboutTed.do" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tenders Electronic Daily</a> (TED) and from national procurement portals.</p> <p>The data from TED covers contracts whose monetary values exceed the <a href="https://ec.europa.eu/growth/single-market/public-procurement/rules-implementation/thresholds_en" target="_blank" rel="noopener">thresholds</a> set by EU directives. The thresholds are adjusted for inflation every 2 years.</p>
