(Oxford: India Office, 1903): volume 1,</strong></a>&nbsp;<strong>number 2831 here with notations and hyperlinks].</strong></li> </ul> <p>1286</p> <p>Another copy of the same.</p> <p>This copy seems to be older than the preceding one, but is not dated; it is injured in many places , and has the first sixty-two leaves in the most bewildering order: ff. 1-20, 29, 22, 23, 30, 21, 24, 25, 47-53, 54, 32-38, 27, 28, 26, 55-60, 39-46, 31, 61, 62.</p> <p>Contents:</p> <p>Ghazals, in alphabetical order, except the first two, on fol. 1<sup>a</sup>. Beginning, both of the initial and of the first alphabetical ghazal, the same as in the preceding copy. At the end of the ghazals, on fol. 163<sup>b</sup>, four rub&acirc;&rsquo;&icirc;s.</p> <p>One tarj&icirc;&rsquo;band, ghazals, ḳiṭ&rsquo;as, short mathnaw&icirc;s and rub&acirc;&rsquo;is, all mixed together, beginning, on fol. 164<sup>a</sup>: الا اى عشق الخ (see the preceding copy, fol. 209<sup>a</sup>).</p> <p>The last mathnaw&icirc;, on fol. 178<sup>a</sup>, begins:</p> <p>الا اى شاهباز قدس لاهوت &ndash; مقيّد مانده در دام ناسوت</p> <p>(identical with the بيان واقعۀ امير تيمور گورگان, in No. 862 of the Bodleian Cat.).</p> <p>No. 2831, ff. 179, 2 coll., each ll. 21; small Nasta&rsquo;l&icirc;ḳ; size, 6&frac12; in. by 4 in.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
