(Oxford: India Office, 1903): volume 1,</strong></a>&nbsp;<strong>number 884 here with notations and hyperlinks].</strong></li> </ul> <p>1304</p> <p>A defective copy of the same <em>first part</em>.</p> <p>The proper order of leaves in this copy is: ff. 16-39, 2-15, 40-50.</p> <p>Fol. 16<sup>a</sup> opens at the end of a ḳaṣ&icirc;dah, corresponding to No. 2628 (1301 in this Cat.), fol. 7<sup>b</sup>, l. 10; the first complete ḳaṣ&icirc;dah on the same page begins: بانگ رحیل از قافله الخ = No. 2628, fol. 7<sup>b</sup>, line. penult.; the mathnaw&icirc;s begin, on fol. 46<sup>b</sup>: بنام خداى الخ (=No. 2628, fol. 54<sup>a</sup>), and go down to the end. The copy comprises therefore fol. 7<sup>b</sup>, l. 10 to fol. 58<sup>b</sup> of No. 2628. The first leaf (fol. 1<sup>b</sup>), written by a more modern hand, contains a repetition of the first nine baits of a ḳaṣ&icirc;dah, beginning: اى سر از قدر الخ , corresponding to fol. 39<sup>b</sup>, l. 8 sq. in this copy and to No. 2628, fol. 31<sup>b</sup>, l. 10 sq.</p> <p>No date.</p> <p>No. 884, ff. 50, 2 coll., each ll. 17; distinct Nasta&rsquo;l&icirc;ḳ; illuminated frontispiece; size, 10 in. by 6<sup>3/8</sup> in.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
