EDS data of Notocupes spinosus (NIGP174673) and Notocupes daohugouensis (NIGP174675)

<p>This dataset contains the raw energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) data for the holotype of&nbsp;<em>Notocupes spinosus</em> (NIGP174673) and <em>Notocupes daohugouensis</em> (NIGP174675) from the Jurassic Daohugou beds. This dataset is associated with the publication &quot;New species of <em>Notocupes </em>from the Middle Jurassic Daohugou beds, with discussion on the circumscription of the genus&quot; (DOI:10.11646/palaeoentomology.6.4.11).</p> <p>EDS data were obtained with a TESCAN MAIA3 field emission scanning electron microscope. The original OIP project files are provided, which could be opened by the AZtec software. The exported elemental maps in TIF format are also provided.</p>
