Data content and structure</p> <p>There are 1142 training set images, 382 validation set images and 381 test set images in this dataset. The resolution of each image is 480x480 pixels. The data is stored in JPG format.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>3. Data labelling and tagging</p> <p>Each image contains an annotation file in TXT format, which records the location and type of defects, including four types of defects: "open", "cord_defects", "impurity", and "belt_cuobian".</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>4. Description of data use</p> <p>The dataset is mainly used for the study of tyre defect detection, especially for defects containing elongated features. Due to the characteristics of the dataset, it may not be suitable for other types of image detection tasks.</p>

IVD-SEG:Standardized Datasets for Industrial Vision Defect Segmentation

<h1>&nbsp;</h1> <h1>Code[<a href="https://github.com/KLIVIS/IVD-SEG">Github</a>]</h1> <h1>abstract</h1> <p>We introduce IVD-SEG, a dataset encompassing defect images from 43 different industrial products, totaling 5686 images, spanning tasks that include binary and multiclass segmentation. Within IVD-SEG, we meticulously propose 12 sub-datasets, including two newly developed datasets by our team. Serving as a large-scale standardized industrial defect image dataset, all images are unified to a 256 &times; 256 size, accompanied by semantic segmentation annotations. This standardization facilitates users unfamiliar with industrial product defects to utilize the dataset, allowing them to focus on exploring algorithmic performance on the IVD-SEG dataset. To our knowledge, the dataset we propose is currently the most comprehensive and voluminous compilation of industrial defect images, thereby contributing to the advancement of relevant research in industrial image analysis. Simultaneously, our dataset supports research and education in various fields, including computer vision and machine learning. We conducted benchmark tests on IVD-SEG using several baseline methods, including representative CNN and ViT networks.<br><br></p>

"The current-voltage characteristics and partial pressure dependence of defect controlled electrochemical reactions on mixed conducting oxides"

<p>Oxygen exchange reaction rates on mixed conducting perovskite electrodes are described as a function of defect concentrations, see <a href="http://elchinfo.cta.tuwien.ac.at/pmwiki/uploads/Profiles/Schmid_JESoc.pdf">The current-voltage characteristics and partial pressure dependence of defect controlled electrochemical reactions on mixed conducting oxides</a> for a detailed description.</p> <p>Here, (exchange) currents, polarization resistances, <span class="math-tex">\(p_{\rm{O_2}}\)</span> dependencies and Tafel-slopes are calculated as function of&nbsp;<span class="math-tex">\(p_{\rm{O_2}}\)</span> and overpotential for different possible reaction mechnisms. The defect concentrations are taken from the model material La<sub>0.6</sub>Sr<sub>0.4</sub>FeO<sub>3-<span class="math-tex">\(\delta\)</span></sub>, and listed in Brouwer_Bias.csv as a function of&nbsp;<span class="math-tex">\(p_{\rm{O_2}}\)</span> and overpotential.</p> <p>Model 7 describes a molecular mechanisms wothout adsorption limitation, model 8 includes adsorption limitation. Likewise Models 10 and 11 describe atomic mechanisms without and with adsorption limitation, respectively.</p> <p>Overpotentials are listed in V, oxygen partial pressures in bar, defect concentrations in defects per unit cell and currents are in arbitrary units as are resistances.</p> <p>Partial pressure and overpotential dependencies (p and n slopes) are given as <span class="math-tex">\(\frac{\partial \ln j}{\partial\ln p_{\rm{O_2}}}\)</span>(unitless) and <span class="math-tex">\(\frac{\partial \ln j}{\partial\eta}\)</span>(/V), and likewise with resistances instead of currents (rp and rn slopes), respectively.</p> <p>The source code for this project is available at: https://github.com/AlexSchmid22191/EIS_R_Sim</p>

Sporadic pseudohypoparathyroidism type 1B in monozygotic twins: insights into the pathogenesis of methylation defects

<p>Context: Sporadic pseudohypoparathyroidism type 1B (sporPHP1B) is an imprinting disease without a defined genetic cause, characterized by broad methylation changes in differentially methylated regions (DMRs) of the <i>GNAS</i> gene.</p> <p>Objective: This work aims to provide insights into the causative event leading to the <i>GNAS</i> methylation defects through comprehensive molecular genetic analyses of a pair of female monozygotic twins concordant for sporPHP1B who were conceived naturally i.e., without assisted reproductive techniques.</p> <p>Methods: Using the leukocyte genome of the twins and family members, we performed targeted bisulfite sequencing, methylation-sensitive restriction enzyme (MSRE)-qPCR, whole-genome sequencing (WGS), high-density SNP array, and Sanger sequencing.</p> <p>Results: Methylation analyses by targeted bisulfite sequencing and MSRE-qPCR revealed almost complete loss of methylation at the <i>GNAS</i> AS, XL, and A/B DMRs and gain of methylation at the NESP55 DMR in the twins, but not in other family members. Except for the <i>GNAS</i> locus, we did not find apparent methylation defects at other imprinted genome loci of the twins. WGS, SNP array, and Sanger sequencing did not detect the previously described genetic defects associated with familial PHP1B. Sanger sequencing also ruled out any novel genetic alterations in the entire NESP55/AS region. However, the analysis of 28 consecutive SNPs could not exclude the possibility of paternal heterodisomy in a span of 22 kb comprising exon NESP55 and AS exon 5.</p> <p>Conclusion: Our comprehensive analysis of a pair of monozygotic twins with sporPHP1B ruled out all previously described genetic causes. Twin concordance indicates that the causative event was an imprinting error earlier than the timing of monozygotic twinning.</p>
