Supplementary Data: Raw interview data and NVivo11 analysis summary

Interview data on a sample of software startups focusing on the early stages of their evolution paths.

Summary of qualitative analysis of the data done with NVivo11 in a study focusing on the software startups from the viewpoints of resource-based-view and human capital theories. Human captital, defined as one type of resources in resource-based-view theory, is defined in existing research broadly as a set of capabilities, knowledge, skills, education, experience, and other similar human attributes, and seen as a source of economic growth at all levels from an individual to nations and the world. The qualitative analysis of the interview data was done to answer the following research questions: 1) What are the engineering-related capabilities necessary for creating a product in a software startup?, 2) What are the means to acquire the necessary capabilities?, and 3) What are the reasons for deploying different capability-acquiring means?

The findings of the analysis were used for drawing conclusions, how the established theories, resource-based-view and human capital theories, fit to the actual situations in software startups.

The main summer ritual is held every year on Buddha Purnima, the full moon of Kalen (9 May 2017) at the Shree Shree Govindajee Temple of the Royal Palace of Manipur. It is a cycle of songs sung in classical Manipuri sankirtana style by the royal women descendants of Maharaja Narasingh of Manipur (1792-1850). The songs praise Lord Krishna and Lady Radha as they come out to play with water at a fountain.

This video is a part of THE JALAKELI PROJECT, Imasi Foundation's web-based, digital, Manipuri women's oral history initiative framed by this traditional women's sankirtana performance ritual of Manipur.

Transcripts of 28 interviews with researchers who fabricated data for an experiment

For an experiment we recently conducted, we asked researchers to fabricate data for a Stroop experiment. The purpose of this experiment was to test whether we could use statistics to discern the fabricated data from genuine data we collected from Many Labs 3. We also interviewed the researchers about how they fabricated data, in order to learn how researchers actually fabricate data. We share these transcripts here for maximum reuse under a CC 0 license.

Transcripts of expert interviews with writing center directors in the USA in 2012

This document contains transcripts of interviews with 16 writing center directors in different writing centers in the USA, conducted in 2012. The overall research question for the interviews was how writing center directors deal with challenges in writing center work and how they conduct institutional work for their writing centers.

The interviews belong to the habilitation thesis “Strategien für die Institutionalisierung von Schreibzentren an Hochschulen. Eine qualitative Analyse der Institutionalisierungsarbeit von Leitungspersonen in Schreibzentren“, as proposed to the Fakultätsrat der Kultur-, Sozial- und Bildungswissenschaftlichen Fakultät of the Humboldt University Berlin, April 1st 2016. The study has been accepted as habilitation by the Fakultätsrat at February 15th 2017.

The results of the study will be published as open access publication (e-book) and in print by W.Bertelsmann Verlag (wbv) Bielefeld in October 2017. The study contains a description of demographic details and other details of the interviews and explains the methodology, which clarifies why the interview transcripts eventually change to part-transcriptions due to theoretical saturation.

Interviews on Current Practices for Describing and Providing Access to UK Public Sector Web Archives

This dataset contains qualitative interview data which investigated current practice for describing and providing access to UK Public Sector Web Archives. Participants included staff responsible for the management and curation of the following web archives:

UK Web Archive (four of the six Legal Deposit libraries: the British Library, Bodleian Libraries, Cambridge University Library, and the National Library of Scotland)

UK Government Web Archive (The National Archives)

UK Parliament Web Archive (Parliamentary Archives)

NRS Web Archive (National Records of Scotland) and

PRONI Web Archive (Public Record Office Northern Ireland).

Available to the public are the University of Dundee (UoD) ethics application for this study, including the research data management plan and information provided to organisations before participating in the study. The report of interview codes and code groups (the 'Codebook') demonstrates the connections made across responses. This is supplemented by a redacted report of quotations by code, organised by code group and document.

This qualitative interview data, and subsequent analysis, forms the basis of the Masters thesis 'Web Archives for All? Towards Equitable Access to UK Public Sector Web Archives' submitted as part of the MLitt Archives and Records Management at the University of Dundee.

Data from: Community Credit interviews on trust in consumer financial services

The Community Credit research project explores pathways for trusted collaboration between credit unions and the communities they serve. To understand the experiences of people historically underserved by the consumer financial services industry, we focused in particular on the lived experience of low-income residents in Southern California. As part of a larger, mixed-methods study, in 2022 we conducted 30 semi-structured interviews exploring people's everyday financial practices and their attitudes toward consumer financial services providers. This data set contains the transcripts from the interviews after excluding any personally identifying data.

All study materials and procedures were approved by the University of California, Irvine Office of Human Research Protections and the Institutional Review Board (protocol ID 20216839). This material is based upon work supported by the National Science Foundation under Grant No. 2137567. Questionnaire and interview guidelines related to Süsser et al. (2024) on how the COVID-19 pandemic changed stakeholder engagement processes in sustainability research in the long-term

The survey questionnaire and the interview guidelines have been designed in the framework of the EU H2020 projects SENTINEL to study the impact of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on the stakeholder engagement processes in susatinability research in the longterm. We conducted interviews with researchers and engaged stakeholders, using a semi-structured interview guideline. We designed the survey as an explorative, semi-quantitative, self-completion online questionnaire, using the online tool “LimeSurvey”. The survey was reworked based on our previous survey. The study was a follow-up study on our own work (Süsser, D., Ceglarz, A., Stavrakas, V., & Lilliestam, J. COVID-19 vs. stakeholder engagement: the impact of coronavirus containment measures on stakeholder involvement in European energy research projects [version 1; peer review: awaiting peer review].
