Fieldnotes for the UKRI-funded PhD project "Interiorising the borders of the nation: Civic education in Europe and the making of the Muslim citizen"

The bulk of the data supporting this study is non-digital. It comprises 14 notebooks of handwritten ethnographic fieldnotes taken over a 24-month period of fieldwork in Germany between 2020 and 2022. The aim of this fieldwork was to understand the workings Germany's far-flung sector of 'civic education' (politische Bildung), and to conceptualise the normative agendas of citizenship and belonging operative in the contemporary Federal Republic in particular in relation to citizen-subjects interpellated as Muslim.

These notes comprise participant observation at five different sets of sites:

Dedicated state-funded training seminars for civic educators and social workers

Projects of interreligious and intercultural dialogue

Six neighbourhood youth centres

A series of photography exhibitions commemorating the 'guest worker' labour migration agreement between Bonn and Ankara.

The non-digital data supporting this study are stored by the author in a secure locker at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Restricted corpora used in the benchmarks of the PhD thesis "ANNIS: A graph-based query system for deeply annotated text corpora"

Corpora used in the evaluation of the PhD thesis "ANNIS: A graph-based query system for deeply annotated text corpora" (Thomas Krause 2018, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin) which access is limited to academic research purposes. This includes the following corpora in the relANNIS format:

Kobalt-DaF-Korpus (not published under an open license yet, https://www.linguistik.hu-berlin.de/de/institut/professuren/korpuslinguistik/forschung/kobalt-daf)

TIGER (http://www.ims.uni-stuttgart.de/forschung/ressourcen/korpora/tiger.html)

TüBa-D/Z (http://www.sfs.uni-tuebingen.de/ascl/ressourcen/corpora/tueba-dz.html)

The original TIGER corpus can be downloaded from http://www.ims.uni-stuttgart.de/forschung/ressourcen/korpora/TIGERCorpus/license/htmlicense.html and the TüBa-D/Z is available after manually requesting a download-link at http://www.sfs.uni-tuebingen.de/ascl/ressourcen/corpora/tueba-dz.html

Access to both the TIGER and TüBa-D/Z corpora is restricted by the original authors and you need to accept licenses that you are solely using the corpus for academic research. Since the original providers don't include versions in the relANNIS format, it has been made available as restricted download here.

Data accompanying the phd thesis of Ilona Trtikova

Data accompanying the phd thesis

The dissertation deals with collaboration within research groups and with their environment using information and communication technology. A qualitative probe research was conducted to see how the collaboration works, at what levels, what kind of information and data is shared with the use of what software tools and services. An overview of available types of collaboration software was made. Semi-structured interviews were conducted in selected research groups on the basis of which the patterns and tools for collaboration were established. The grounded theory method was chosen to process the data collected from interviews and analyses. The result of the thesis is the research cycle with marked activities in which cooperation is taking place in the studied groups. This documents the state of usage of information and communication technology in research collaboration. It was found that information and communication technology does have an impact on research work in the whole scientific cycle in the studied research groups.

Dataset containing data from a multiple constant stimuli (MCS) paradigm targetting 10 equally spaced bins along the whole alpha cycle.

BCS dataset. Dataset containing data from a binary constant stimuli (BCS) paradigm targetting the associated fast/slow bins along the alpha cycle selected from the MCS dataset.

In addition, the variables extracted in each part of the experimental session (MCS and BCS) are included in MATLAB format.
