Ar+ and N+ ion irradiated Co/Pt and Pt/Co bilayered stacks

<p><span>This dataset comprises X-ray diffraction (XRD), secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS), and vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM) data obtained from the study of thin-film structures. The films are composed of cobalt (Co) and platinum (Pt) layers with configurations Co(10 nm)/Pt(10 nm)/substrate and Pt(10 nm)/Co(10 nm)/substrate. Both types of films were fabricated by magnetron sputtering deposition </span><span>at room temperature onto Si(001)/SiO<sub>2</sub></span><span> substrates. </span></p> <p><span>The as-deposited samples were subjected to N<sup>+</sup>&nbsp;and Ar<sup>+</sup>&nbsp;ion irradiation using a BALZERS MPB 202 ion implanter system with the ion energy of 110&nbsp;keV and ion dose 1&nbsp;&times;&nbsp;10<sup>15</sup>&nbsp;ions/cm<sup>2</sup>. The irradiated stacks were post-annealed in vacuum of 10<sup>&minus;6</sup>&nbsp;mbar at 550&deg;</span><span>С</span><span> for 30&nbsp;min and investigated along with non-irradiated samples after same single-stage thermal treatment.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span>The XRD data, obtained using a Rigaku Ultima IV diffractometer </span><span>(CuK</span><span>&alpha;</span><span> radiation)</span><span>, provides information on the crystal structure of the films. SIMS data, acquired with an Ion ToF IV device, reveals depth profiles and elemental composition, while the magnetic properties of the films were characterized using a vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM).</span></p>

Original CT image stacks of five fossil petrosal bones from Siberia, 3D PDF files of reconstructed endocasts, blood vessels and innervation patterns, 3D PDF instruction file, STL files of the petrosals

<p>Five partially preserved mammaliaform petrosals recovered from Middle Jurassic sediments of the Berezovsk coal mine (Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia) show similarities to other early mammaliaforms like the morganucodontan <i>Morganucodon</i> and the docodontan <i>Haldanodon</i> in having an inflated promontorium, and a curved and apically inflated cochlear canal. But they are distinct from dryolestoid and derived mammalian petrosals by the weak coiling of the cochlear duct and the presence of a perilymphatic foramen with an open perilymphatic sulcus. The two larger and robust specimens exhibit striking similarities to docodontan petrosals. Inside the bone an intricate circumpromontorial venous plexus was discovered as recently described for the docodontan <i>Borealestes</i>, confirming this structure is consistently present in basal mammaliaforms. The three smaller and slender petrosals likely belong to haramiyidans and are unique in showing a septum-like structure medially along the cochlear nerve entrance. The protruding perforated bony bar that is preserved in two of the three is interpreted here to be a remnant of a bony septum with multiple foramina for cochlear nerve fibers, representing an autapomorphic feature of Haramiyida. This newly described passageway for nerve fibers shows that the formation of the osteological structure surrounding the nervous pathways of the cochlea is more plastic among the most basal mammaliaforms than previously thought.</p>

<p>Software engineering Q&amp;A websites (e.g., Stack Overflow), harness the collective expertise of users to address technical queries. Over time, these platforms evolve into valuable repositories of software engineering knowledge. Such repositories serve as essential resources for developers looking for&nbsp;<abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1"><abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1"><abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1">solutions</abbr></abbr></abbr>&nbsp;to common programming&nbsp;<abbr title="Sentiment effect: -2">problems</abbr>. In Stack Overflow, developers may approach answering questions in various ways.&nbsp;<abbr title="Sentiment effect: 2">Gaining</abbr>&nbsp;insight into how developers formulate their answers on Stack Overflow can enhance knowledge sharing and streamline the process of finding&nbsp;<abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1"><abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1"><abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1">solutions</abbr></abbr></abbr>. Furthermore, such insights could also inform improvements in Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools to&nbsp;<abbr title="Sentiment effect: 2">better</abbr>&nbsp;align generated source code for comprehension and understandability, as AI-generated answers are known to include irrelevant information and hallucinations. In this study, we seek to deepen the understanding of how&nbsp;<abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1"><abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1"><abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1">solutions</abbr></abbr></abbr>&nbsp;are presented on Stack Overflow. We conducted an empirical study that investigates programming questions that are answered with a&nbsp;<abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1"><abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1"><abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1"><abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1"><abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1">Solution</abbr></abbr></abbr></abbr></abbr>&nbsp;Snippet to understand how a&nbsp;<abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1"><abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1"><abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1"><abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1"><abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1">Solution</abbr></abbr></abbr></abbr></abbr>&nbsp;Snippet is presented, and the ways how it should be adapted when it is reused. Our study resulted in two categorizations: 1) eight categories of how&nbsp;<abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1"><abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1"><abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1"><abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1"><abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1">Solution</abbr></abbr></abbr></abbr></abbr>&nbsp;Snippets are presented on Stack Overflow answers and 2) five categories of how&nbsp;<abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1"><abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1"><abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1"><abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1"><abbr title="Sentiment effect: 1">Solution</abbr></abbr></abbr></abbr></abbr>&nbsp;Snippets could be adapted for reuse. An Empirical Study of Package Management Issues via Stack Overflow

<p>The&nbsp;package manager (PM) is crucial to most technology stacks, acting as a broker to ensure that a verified dependency package is correctly installed, configured, or removed from an application. Diversity in technology stacks has led to dozens of PMs with various features. While our recent study indicates that package management features of PM are related to end-user experiences, it is unclear what those issues are and what information is required to resolve them.&nbsp; In this paper, we have investigated PM issues faced by end-users through an empirical study of content on Stack Overflow (SO). We carried out a qualitative analysis of 1,131 questions and their accepted answer posts for three popular PMs (i.e., Maven, npm, and NuGet ) to identify issue types, underlying causes, and their resolutions. Our results confirmed that end-users struggle with PM tool usage (approximately 64-72%). We observed that most issues are raised by end-users due to a lack of instructions and errors messages from PM tools. In terms of issue resolution, we observed that external link sharing is the most common practice to resolve PM issues. Additionally, we found that links pointing to useful resources (i.e., official documentation websites, tutorials, etc.) are the most frequently shared, indicating the potential for tool support and the ability to provide relevant information.</p>
