Herbarium specimen segmentation dataset
<p><strong>Dataset desription</strong></p> <p>This repository contains the annotated regions of the herbarium specimen, from the Herbarium-2022 Challenge dataset [1], where only the dried and pressed plant is present.</p> <p>Each annotation has the associated image name in its filename, the images themselves can be downloaded from the kaggle page of the challenge itself, as they cannot be distributed otherwise (but are allowed for use in scientific purposes).</p> <p>The data is split into train, test and validation data in a 70%/20%/10% split and is sorted into folders accordingly.</p> <p>The annotations are contained in .txt files, and are in the YOLOv8 annotation format.</p> <p>The images were originally published in the Herbarium-2022 Challenge dataset [1].</p> <p><strong>Download and Use</strong><br>This data may be used for non-commercial research purposes only. </p> <p>[1] Brendan Hogan, damon, inversion, John Park, Riccardo de Lutio.
