Wind tunnel measurements of concentration and velocity in urban geometries with trees
<p><span>This dataset contains concentration and velocity mesurements performed in the aerodynamic wind tunnel of the Ecole Centrale de Lyon (France). <br>An idealized urban district was simulated by an array of blocks, and two rows of model trees were arranged inside a street. <br>Reduced scale trees were chosen to mimic a realistic shape and aerodynamic behaviour.<br>Three different spacings between the trees were considered: "zero" (no trees), "half" (14 cm distance between the tree trunks) and "full" (7 cm distance between the tree trunks).</span></p> <p><span>The dataset includes: <strong> </strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>concentration and velocity measurements performed within a street canyon, under various geometries and wind directions; </span></li> <li><span>the characterization of the boundary layer above the buildings;</span></li> <li><span>the characterization of the tree drag.</span></li> </ul> <p><span>The detailed description of the dataset is contained in the document <code>Info_dataset.pdf</code></span></p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
Global snow water equivalent product derived from machine learning model trained with in situ measurement data
<p>This dataset is a global snow water equivalent dataset using machine learning trained with in-situ measurements. The temporal resolution of the SWEML product is daily, and the spatial resolution is 0.25˚ (approximately 25km). It covers latitudes of 90S to 90N and longitudes of 180W to 180E with global scales, excluding Antarctica. The dataset is provided in NetCDF format, organized by year. Each year contains daily SWE data, including leap days in leap years.</p>

This dataset serves as a valuable resource by integrating psychological assessments, such as the SA-45 pyschological test, with comprehensive socioeconomic, living, and health-related information. By combining these diverse data points, the dataset enables researchers to analyze how various invidual factors influenced nine mental health conditions during the lockdown, providing a robust foundation for further studies on this critical topic.</p>
Longitudinal stability of brain and spinal cord quantitative MRI measures
<p><strong>About: </strong>Tabular (CSV) files are generated by the Courtois Neuromod<a href="https://github.com/courtois-neuromod/anat-processing"> structural data processing workflow</a>. These files contain quantitative MRI metrics such as T1, MTsat, and MTR, in addition to fundamental diffusion tensor imaging indices like RD and FA derived from brain data. The results also encompass the same metrics for spinal cord imaging data, supplemented with additional metrics for spinal cord morphometry. Dendrometer and sapflow measurements of Norway spruce trees in a peatland harvesting experiment in Ränskälänkorpi

Dataset for "Mix and measure - combining in situ X-ray powder diffraction and microtomography for accurate hydrating cement studies" paper
<p>Dataset for paper (doi: <a title="Persistent link using digital object identifier" href="https://doi.org/10.1016/j.cemconres.2023.107370" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">https://doi.org/10.1016/j.cemconres.2023.107370</a>) with the abstract: "It is reported an innovative methodology based on in situ MoKa1 laboratory X-ray powder diffraction (LXRPD) and microtomography (μCT) avoiding any sample conditioning. The pastes are injected in 2.0 mm capillaries and the extremes are just sealed. The measurements take place in the same region of the hydrating paste. Thick capillaries are key to avoiding self-desiccation, which dictates the need of high-energy X-ray radiation for the diffraction study. This approach has been tested with a PC 42.5 R paste having w/c=0.50. μCT data were collected at 12 hours and 1, 3, 7 and 79 days. LXRPD data were acquired at 1, 3, 7 and 77 days. In this proof-of-principle research, the same paste was also cured ex situ. Portlandite contents obtained by thermal analysis, ex situ powder diffraction, in situ mass balance calculation and in situ powder diffraction were 13.8, 13.1, 13.1 and 12.5 wt%, respectively. From the μCT study, the grey value histogram evolution with time showed a crossing point which allowed us to distinguish (appearing) hydrated products from (dissolving) unhydrated cement particles. Segmentations were carried out by global thresholding and the random forest approach (one type of supervised Machine Learning). The comparison of the segmented results for the unhydrated cement fraction and the Rietveld quantitative phase analysis outputs gave an agreement of 2%. The potential of this methodology to deal with more complex binders is also presented."</p>
Carbonate chemistry changes following iron and steel slags dissolution in seawater for Ocean Alkalinity Enhancement, and measured dissolution of potentially toxic elements.
<p>Ocean alkalinity enhancement is a carbon capture strategy that has gained interest over the past years. This strategy relies on the dissolution of alkaline minerals to increase the alkalinity of the ocean, among which iron and steel slags are potential candidates. However, their dissolution in seawater as well as the leaching of potentially toxic elements is unknown. These data were collected as part of a research article that assess the alkalinity generation potential of iron and steel slags in MilliQ and seawater, as well as the dissolution of potentially toxic elements. The dataset is composed of various sheets, each of them reporting data from a specific experiment. For each experiment, the analysis details (instrument used, parameters analysed etc) are provided on each individual sheet, and an overview one regroups the main aims of this research as well as the technical terms used throughout.</p>
Rut depth measurements for D6.4
<p>Rut depth measurements were made with a profilometer equipped with a laser sensor. The transversal profile of the pavement was measured on a width of about 1.4 m. The maximum rut depth value was then determined. Three measurements were performed on each section at the beginning of the test and then at 10 000, 20 000, 50 000, 100 000, 150 000, 200 000, 500 000, 750 000, 1 000 000 and 1 050 000 loads. From these measurements, average rut depths were determined for each section and each number of cycles. By dividing this average rut depth by the real layer thickness, the rutting percentage for each structure was determined as well as its evolution according to the number of cycles.In the deliverable 6.4: Nantes full-scale testing report (https://cordis.europa.eu/project/id/860441/results): figures 34, 35, 47 and 48</p>
