Interviews for New Business Models for Pharmaceutical Innovation and Access to Medicines - Neglected Diseases
<p>These supplementary materials represent the partial dataset in the form of semi-structured interviews, collected and analyzed in the research article "Alternative pharmaceutical innovation models for neglected diseases: How can they continue to thrive?". This article is one of the outcomes of the "New Business Models for Pharmaceutical Innovation and Global Access to Medicines" research project, conducted at the Global Health Center, within the Geneva Graduate Institute. CLS INFRA T3.5 Interviews: Understanding User Requirements Beyond Academia
<p>The CLS INFRA research team at Trinity College Dublin, Jennifer Edmond, Associate Professor at Trinity College Dublin and the director of the Trinity Centre for Digital Humanities, and Vera Yakupova, Research Assistant at the Trinity Centre for Digital Humanities, conducted in the framework of the project a series of 15 focussed interviews with professionals beyond academia to understand user needs for computational literary studies beyond academia, and to develop user scenarios in this respect.</p> <p>This task’s team works closely with Work Packages 2 and 3 to profile potential users of infrastructure for literary analysis from beyond the academic sphere, as maximising use and impact is a key driver for sustainability. CLS INFRA has great potential to contribute to the work of many professions, and take advantage of the opportunity to maximise the use and impact of the infrastructure would function as a key driver for sustainability. The gap to be bridged, however, is in the understanding of what these non-professional researchers would need in terms of support and contextualisation of materials in order to be able to use them. Based on research into applied uses of literature (fiction), narratives, and storytelling, we profiled potential users of infrastructure for literary analysis from beyond the academic sphere. The research findings are detailed in our Report "D3.5 User needs beyond academic research for Computational Literary Analysis". </p> <p>This dataset includes transcripts of the 15 interviews with and without mark ups. For context and as supporting information for this research, the dataset also includes a documentation on the interviews ("Documentation: 'Users Beyond Academia' Interview Dataset"), a summary of the interview report ("3.5 Interview Report Summary"), and the presentation on this research at the DH2023 conference, July 10-14, in Graz, Austria.</p>
CATCH-EyoU: Public Authorities engaging with youth: Interviews: UK
<p>The data set includes discourse analysis and thematic content analysis of interview transcripts collected with UK and regional politicians, local government youth policy officers, public officials and representatives of youth umbrella organizations. The data set consists of a 38 page preliminary report that summarizes themes and discourses emerging from transcribed extracts derived from 14 audio-recorded interviews in the UK. Personal data has been anonymized in order to protect participants’ privacy. </p> <p> </p> <p>This dataset aims to identify discourses and themes emerging from interviews with policy makers regarding whether and to what extent European Youth policies have been implemented at national, regional and local levels in various member states. </p> <p> </p> <p>Previous research has only partially answered these questions; comparing different policy makers’ perspectives, will allow researchers to identify tensions and contradictions in policies implementation, providing new insight for improving policy implementation.</p>

<p>This is a set of interview transcripts executed by Niccolò Tempini between September 2015 and October 2016, as part of the ERC project "The Epistemology of Data-Intensive Science", and in the context of a case study of SAIL. <p>This dataset provides the user responses to the interviews that will be performed during the evaluation phase of the project and will be designed around the unified theory of user’s acceptance of technology.</p> <p>A simple Dublin core set of metadata will be used to describe the dataset.</p> <p>It will be created during the pilot 3 tests in order to understand how users accept and perceive the concept. No reuse of additional information is foreseen, as this information cannot be enhanced by any external contribution.</p> <p>The information volume that will be stored is quite small, several Kbytes for each participant at the most, yielding up to a few Mbytes per experimentation session.</p> <p>The dataset could be used by any interested researchers. It is expected that the dataset can contribute to an understanding of the users’ acceptance of the CROSSCULT technology and to an article based on this study. It will also inform the evaluation framework.</p>
