Close encounters between infants and household members measured through wearable proximity sensors
<p>The dataset contains close proximity interactions between family members of 16 households with infants younger than 6 months, recorded for 2-5 consecutive days between March 2015 and January 2016, in Rome, Italy. Data were collected trough the use of wearable proximity sensors of the SocioPatterns platform (<a href="http://sociopatterns.org">http://sociopatterns.org</a>).</p> <p>Contact events were recorded between 55 individuals: 16 infants, 4 siblings, 31 parents and 4 grandparents.</p> <p>Each line of the dataset corresponds to a contact event recorded between two sensors (sensor 1 and sensor 2). Heading labels are the following:</p> <ul> <li>ID_sensor1: anonymized ID of sensor 1;</li> <li>ID_sensor2: anonymized ID of sensor 2;</li> <li>contact_duration: duration of the contact event in seconds;</li> <li>time: date and time of the contact event;</li> <li>family_role_tag1: family role of individual wearing sensor 1;</li> <li>Household: household ID;</li> <li>family_role_tag2: family role of individual wearing sensor 2.</li> </ul> <p> </p>

<p>Measurement of single-bit output data stream of an low-IF receiver with sigma-delta ADC. Inphase and Quadraturephase signals can be found in raw_rx_*.csv files. Simulation results of DFT based RSSI calculation are found in sim_RSSI_*.csv. Measurement results of the RSSI dynamic range are located in meas_RSSI_dynamicRange.csv.</p>

<p>The Excel files contain the raw dilatometry data for the FGHAZ and CGHAZ experiments, with the spreadsheet used to calculate the modified offset also included. </p> <p>The .tif files are the raw 2D images acquired during synchrotron X-ray diffraction experiments. The sample-detector distance was approximately 1400 mm. Please see the publication for further details (or contact the corresponding author). </p>

Optically measured torsional waves on cello string bowed at varying bow force
<p>Transverse and torsional vibrations of a cello G string made of steel, product name "Pirastro Chromcor medium". Find string properties below. String mounted on a monochord and tuned to approximately 98 Hz.</p> <p>Measurements by a high speed camera at 7000 frames per second, on axis with the bowed string (displacement < 20°).</p> <p>Transverse: optical marker on the string (transverse), 70 mm away from the bridge, 10 mm away from the bow contact point.</p> <p>Torsional: optical marker at each end of two needles (top, and bottom, each 4mm long, total weight including marker 0.002 g), 70 mm away from the bridge, 10 mm away from the bow contact point.</p> <p>Manual bowing by experienced player, bowing at the target contact point 80 mm away from bridge, while each individual stroke represents a certain level of bow pressure. Only regular Helmholtz motion is excited on the string. MEASURING EFFICIENCY AND BENCHMARKING CLASSIFIED TWO - FIVE STAR HOTELS IN NAIROBI AND MOMBASA, KENYA
<p>The purpose of this study was to measure the relative efficiency of the hotels in Nairobi and Mombasa using Data Envelopment Analysis. The study was a longitudinal survey in which data are collected for periods; 2007, 2008 and. The study was limited to two-five star hotels. The study sample consisted of 36 hotels. The results revealed that technical inefficiencies of the hotels were mainly due to the pure technical inefficiencies rather than the scale inefficiencies.</p>
