IceBridge Accumulation Radar L1B Geolocated Radar Echo Strength Profiles V002
This data set contains radar echograms taken over Greenland and Antarctica using the Center for Remote Sensing of Ice Sheets (CReSIS) Accumulation Radar instrument. The data were collected as part of Operation IceBridge funded campaigns.
GSSR V RTLS 5 12.6-12.9CM RADAR SCALED ECHO POWER/ALT V1.0
The Goldstone Solar System Radar observations of Venus from 1972 until 1988 are included in this data set. The system operated at 12.6 cm up until 1977 operated at 12.9 cm. The data consist of radar scaled backscatter cross sections in image format and, in most cases, associated altimetry observations. The data were acquired over 52 separate observing runs. In total the observations cover the region between approximately 260 degrees (leftmost) east longitude to 30 degrees (rightmost) east longitude, within approximately 20 degrees of the equator. Backscatter data were acquired with opposite sense circular polarization with incidence angles typically less than 10 degrees. Associated altimetric data were acquired using a two or three station interferometric system. Data are presented in Mercator projection with degrees/pixel in longitude dependent on the individual data file.

This data set contains radar echograms taken from the Center for Remote Sensing of Ice Sheets (CReSIS) ultra wide-band snow radar over land and sea ice in the Arctic and Antarctic. In addition, airborne snow measurements were taken during 10 flights over Alaska mountains, ice fields, and glaciers at the end of May 2018 by a compact CReSIS FMCW radar system installed on a Single Otter aircraft. The data were collected as part of Operation IceBridge funded campaigns.

Echoes from the past: Influence of collective memory and historical victimhood on ethnic and national identities
<p>Collective memories which is a group’s shared representations of its past and which has the potentiality of shaping identity was examined in the context of a highly pluralistic society in the study. The research was conducted among 650 purposively selected participants from the three major ethnic groups in Nigeria through an online survey. The study seeks to know if pleasant collective memories will positively influence ethnic (subgroup) identification and national (superordinate) identification, and if on the other hand, unpleasant collective memories will be positively associated with ethnic identification but negatively associated with national identification. The study also seeks to know if victim beliefs will influence engagement in collective actions against authorities for justice. Respondents were measured on collective memories, victim beliefs, ethnic and national identifications scales. Findings of the study through a Latent Class Analysis (LCA) and Path Model Analysis indicate that pleasant collective memories positively influenced ethnic identification and national identification b = .56, SE = .15, p < .001, b = .67, SE = .14, p < .004, respectively. Also, result indicates that unpleasant collective memories has a significant positive influence on ethnic identification, but a significant negative influence on national identity. (b= 0.239, -0.058), respectively. Furtherance to this, Victim belief was found to be a predictor of collective action. (b = 0.251, p-value = 0.009 95% CI [0.12, 0.90], although, pleasant collective memories reduce the likelihood of collective action, (b = -0.716, p-value = 0.000). The study discusses how these dynamics influence ethnic group’s relations with other ethnic groups and the government of a pluralistic society.</p>
