FIGURE 1. Bayesian consensus tree based on the partial COI gene. Number above and below branches are Bayesian posterior probabilities and bootstrap values (>50%), respectively. Cyrtodactylus pulchellus = C. pulchellus sensu lato (before the revision of Grismer et al. 2012). The bracket and number indicate the sister relationship between two taxa and the bootstrap value supported by the MP analysis, respectively.
FIGURE 3 in DNA barcoding of Vietnamese bent-toed geckos (Squamata: Gekkonidae: Cyrtodactylus) and the description of a new species
FIGURE 3. Bayesian inference tree for species of Cyrtodactylus from Vietnam and adjacent areas. Symbols at nodes show levels of support based on Bayesian posterior probabilities (BPP), and bootstrap (BS) proportions from maximum likelihood (ML) and maximum parsimony (MP), respectively. Asterisks indicate nodes supported 100% by BI, ML, and MP; a plus sign indicates support of 95–99% by BI and 70–99% by ML and MP; and a hyphen an un-supported node. Photos of geckos not proportional to size in life.

FIGURE 2. Sampling localities of Cyrtodactylus in Vietnam and adjacent areas included in this study (circles). Red circle shows the location the new species described herein, and blue circles show locations of sympatry. Triangles represent remaining Vietnamese congeners. Numbers for each locality refer to Table 1.
