Pirogov's museum in St. Petersburg

The building of Pirogov's surgical society or Pirogov's museum was constructed in 1897. For many years it remained home for Pirogov's society until it was taken from them and later, demolished in 1969 for purpose of building the hotel "Leningrad" for foreign tourists.
