STeVECat, the Spectral TeV Extragalactic Catalog

The Whipple Observatory's discovery of extragalactic TeV photons from Markarian 421 in 1992 marked the beginning of extragalactic gamma-ray astronomy at very high-energy (VHE, E > 100 GeV). Three decades later, both the number of detected extragalactic VHE sources and the variety of their observed spectral states have greatly increased. We present a catalog of high-level results from extragalactic observations made by imaging atmospheric Cherenkov telescopes (IACTs): STeVECat, the Spectral TeV Extragalactic Catalog.

The catalog can be accessed by extracting the archive stevecat.tar.gz. The following command line can be use to create a directory called "STeVECat":

tar -zxf stevecat.tar.gz

This directory contains a CSV table corresponding to the sources featured in STeVECat, a CSV table corresponding to all the STeVECat spectra, 173 folders containing ECSV files corresponding to these spectra and a data FITS file, all of which are described in the corresponding ICRC 2023 contribution by Lucas Gréaux et al. We also provide a python script showing how to load the data.

If you use the catalog, please cite the corresponding ICRC 2023 contribution by Lucas Gréaux et al.

Microseismic Catalog for ToC2ME dataset

Microseismic catalog for the Tony Creek dual Microseismic Experiment (ToC2ME) dataset, a passive microseismic dataset collected near Fox Creek, Alberta, Canada, in 2016.

Number of events: 18040

Location/detection method: Absolute locations based on P- and S-waveforms from 3C sensor. Method involves stacking waveforms along ray-tracing travel times within a volume. Includes all events that exceeded quality control criteria from a larger catalog of detected events from multi-channel 3D cross-correlation. High resolution in x and y, but with a large uncertainty in depth. Method developed by James Verdon at the University of Bristol. Magnitudes obtained from 3C geophones using the standard Brune formula.

See https://github.com/ToC2ME for more information.
