The initial stages of Ag fluorination: a scanning tunneling microscopy investigation

Low Temperature scanning tunneling microscopy images of Ag(100) and Ag(110) crystals exposed at room temperature for different amounts of time to a fluorine-rich atmosphere. The temperature used for acquiring the STM images is written within the title of the file.

The calibration factors for the STM images are 1.12 in X and Y, 0.867 in Z.

These STM data are the raw images of the results shown in the paper published in ArXiv with the doi number 10.48550/arXiv.2410.04858.

Microbiota Study Crohn's Disease AG Chang

We have investigated a Crohn’s disease (CD) cohort by our multi-parameter microbiota flow cytometry approach to characterise the microbiota on single-cell level for attributes of the disease. The microbiota is isolated from stool samples and stained according to the published protocol for (a) host immunoglobulins IgA1, IgA2, IgM, IgG and (b) agglutinin binding to mannose, galactose or N-Acetyl-glucosamine surface sugar moieties. For all samples we also determined the microbiome composition by 16S rRNA (V3-V4) sequencing on the illumina MiSeq platform. We provide the raw .fcs and FASTQ files of 64 CD patients distributed into two cohorts (55) individuals in cohort 1, 19 individuals in cohort 2). Cohort 2 has two samples for two timepoints.

For comparison we additionally analysed 55 healthy donors.

All .fcs files were generated on BD Influx®.

The metadata is collected in the provided meta.csv.

The staining parameters are summarized in provided panel.csv.

Cohen AG Hons Thesis Project Dataset and RStudio Codes

The attached codes were written by AG Cohen to analyse the attached data obtained from an experimental taphonomy experiment conducted at the Australian Facility for Taphonomic Experimental Research (AFTER). Six human donors were buried on the left side in flexion. Four donors were buried in a fresh state and two donors were naturally mummified by desiccation prior to burial. The donors were excavated after ~5 to 7 years of burial.

The project aimed to explore the correlation between joint flexion and mode of deposition, testing the hypothesis proposed by archaeothanatological scholars that hyperflexion is only achievable in multistage depositions, such as those in which mummification precedes interment, permitting a tighter closure of flexor surfaces than would be achievable in life with the obstruction of soft-tissues.

The main aim was to determine if there was any post-burial movement of the lower limbs and a statistically significant difference in flexion angles between the 'mummy' and ‘fresh’ experiment groups. It also provided new insights by comparing the reliability of 2D and 3D methods in measuring joint angles from the skeletal remains and established by what parameters we can define hyperflexion. The data and codes are used to explore this correlation, the agreement between 2D and 3D methods, and the consistency of the measurement methods when performed by one rater (repeats) and multiple beta-testers.
