It was completed on Tuesday, 6th Muḥarram, 722, at Sulṭ&acirc;n&icirc;yah, by Ḥamzah b. &lsquo;Al&icirc; b. Ḥamzah Ḳazw&icirc;n&icirc; Baihaḳ&icirc;, commonly called Sa&rsquo;d (al-d&icirc;n) Khur&acirc;s&acirc;n&icirc;. He transcribed it from a copy which had been taken from the author&rsquo;s own copy. Each part consists of two chapters.</p> <p>III.Foll. 31-38. Two introductory treatises on Geometry and Astronomy, by an unknown author.</p> <p>Beginning: الحمد لله ذكر مقدمتین من الهندسة و الهيئة يستعان بهما على حدود الابواب و براهينها و بعض حدود و ذلك فى ١٤ بابا و خاتمة والله اعلم الباب الاول فى تعريف النقطة و الخط الخ.</p> <p>The first treatise consist of three, and the second (fol.32) of eleven chapters. They contain chiefly definitions.</p> <p>The two latter pieces are plainly written, by N&ucirc;r al-d&icirc;n b. Muḥammad b.
