African American Soldier's Monument
Outside the front of Baltimore's City Hall stands a 9-ft tall monument to the African American soldiers who fought and died in America's wars. Instead of bearing a weapon, the soldier holds a wreath with a scroll featuring dates of major wars, from the Revolution to Vietnam. It was sculpted by [James E. Lewis](https://www.baltimoresun.com/features/bal-blackhistory-lewis-story.html) in 1971 and was moved to its current location after a redesign of the [War Memorial Plaza](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_Memorial_Plaza) in 2007. **UNC Senior Walk monument** Location: University of North Carolina Campus, Orange County, North Carolina. Period: Historic (1928). Material: sandstone. Dimensions: height, 18 inches; width, 14 inches; thickness,6 inches. Notes: This monument was erected by the University of North Carolina's Class of 1928 along a walkway at the north edge of Coker Arboretum. It disappeared from that site about 1970 and was discovered in a neighborhood near Pittsboro, North Carolina, in 2016. Monument to the Battle of Austerlitz at Žuráň
On July 5, 1930, a monument in the form of a polished granite block with a bronze plastic map of the battlefield was unveiled at the top of Žuráň. He let him set up the General Staff of the Czechoslovak Republic. Army at the initiative of French Marshal Louise Franchet d'Espey. The ceremonial unveiling took place in the Czechoslovakia. Minister of National Defense Vyškovský with generals Syrovy and Podhajský and representatives of the French government and army generals Mittelhauser, Faucher, Duffour and Le Blevec. This is a "lite" version of the three part "monument" statue thingy. I had 155 images of three object, but the process of detecting points and whatnot took too long. So I did one with just one of the objects instead, resulting in less time spent waiting. *Note If you download the mesh, you only get the mesh.
