Around 1912 / 1913, Raymond Hamet changed his name to "Raymond-Hamet", i.e., by hyphenating his given name and surname, or at least started writing his name in this way when authoring papers (Smith 2020: 122). The card, of which an image is reproduced here, states, in Raymond-Hamet's handwriting and with his signature: "avec le souvenir reconnaissant du DOCTEUR RAYMOND-HAMET" [English: "with thankful remembrance of Dr Raymond-Hamet / with a thankful memory of Dr Raymond-Hamet"]. The paper clip is the original one used by Raymond-Hamet when he affixed the card to the front cover of a complimentary copy of 'Le genre Kalanchoe au Jardin Botanique "Les Cèdres"' (Raymond-Hamet & Marnier-Lapostolle 1964) that he distributed.
