IODP Expedition 371 Magnetic susceptibility (whole round)
Magnetic susceptibility was measured on whole-round sections (and rarely section halves) on the Whole-Round Multisensor Logger (WRMSL) and/or Special Task Multisensor Logger (STMSL) using a Bartington MS2 meter and a 90 mm or 80 mm MS2C loop. As volume of the sample is not controlled for this experiment, susceptibility units are recorded in instrument units and are not volume-corrected.
IODP Expedition 371 Magnetic susceptibility (point or contact system)
Magnetic susceptibility was measured on section halves on the Section Half Multisensor Logger (SHMSL) using a Bartington MS2 meter and either a MS2E or MS2K probe. Because all JRSO cores meet minimum size requirements for these two probes, MSPOINT data are corrected for volume and recorded in SI susceptibility units (x10-5).

Risk assessment (susceptibility) of thaw slumps and thermokarst lakes in the Yangtze River source region

Due to the influence of climate warming, the degradation of permafrost on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau (QTP) has become evident. The formation of thermokarst hazards induced by the degradation of ice-rich permafrost has a significant impact on infrastructure construction and local ecology; therefore, it is necessary to assess its risk. In this study, a novel multiple thermokarst hazards risk assessment framework was proposed by combining stacking machine learning and potential environmental factors (vegetation factors, terrain factors, climate factors, and soil factors) to assess the risk of thermokarst hazards in the Yangtze River source region (YRSR). The results show the risk assessment (susceptibility) of thermokarst hazards in the YRSR from 2000 to 2016 at 500 m spatial resolution. This study divided the risk into 5 levels: very low (0.0-0.2), low (0.2-0.4), moderate (0.4-0.6), high (0.6-0.8), and very high (0.8-1.0)

Reducing cardiac-induced noise in brain maps of R2* and magnetic susceptibility

This high resolution dataset contain MR images of one participant acquired with a standard linear sampling and a cartesian pseudo-spiral sampling, with 3 repetitions each. It also contain the corresponding R2* and QSM maps shown in the paper. The data are presented both as .nii and .mat files.

IODP Expedition 398 Magnetic susceptibility (Kappabridge)
Bulk magnetic susceptibility and anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility (AMS) were measured on discrete samples using an Agico KLY-4 Kappabridge susceptibility meter. Report includes individual and average principal susceptibilities, inclination and declination of principal susceptibilities, and volume-corrected bulk susceptibility.

7T MRI raw data for: A novel phantom with dia- and paramagnetic substructure for quantitative susceptibility mapping and relaxometry

MRI 7 T raw data for the publication 'A novel phantom with dia- and paramagnetic substructure for quantitative susceptibility mapping and relaxometry', in which a phantom was presented that allows for an experimental evaluation of QSM reconstruction algorithms. The phantom contains susceptibility producing particles with dia- and paramagnetic properties embedded in an MRI visible medium (gelatin and agarose gel) and is suitable to assess the performance of algorithms that attempt to separate isotropic dia- and paramagnetic susceptibility at the sub-voxel level. This dataset only contains additional raw data for a phantom that only contains diamagnetic and paramagnetic particles, respectively.

Landslide Susceptibility in the North Tanganyika-Kivu Rift Region

The map is derived from the ensemble landslide susceptibility model as presented in the paper entitled "The added value of a regional landslide susceptibility assessment: The western branch of the East African Rift". This work was published in Geomorphology (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.geomorph.2019.106886). Refer to this paper when using this map.

The map covers parts of the eastern DRC, Rwanda, and Burundi.

The map is provided in .tif format and displays values between 0 (low susceptibility) and 1000 (high susceptibility). The coordinate reference system is EPSG:4326 - WGS84.
