Kelly's Bar and Grill LucasArts Habitat 1986
Kelly's Bar and Grill LucasArts Habitat 1986. This is a scene derrived from the first ever online virtual world. Hosted by Quantum Link for the C64, Habitat was an open world which could support 10,000 users simutaneously. There was a world currency, objects, customizable avatars and a blog/newspaper. Each user had a house or appartment that could store objects. Text chat was used for communication. All this was expensive. 9.95 /mo and 8 cents /min while online. Habitat ran from 1986-88. It has been reborn as Neohabitat online. Mozilla Hubs site https://hubs.mozilla.com/scenes/m26WYL6/habitat-bar Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

The Bear Brook Watershed in Maine, USA: Long-term stream chemistry 1986 - 2016
This dataset includes stream chemistry for the Bear Brook Watershed in Maine (BBWM). The BBWM consists of two watersheds, the reference East Bear (EB), receiving ambient deposition, and the treated West Bear (WB), which received experimental elevated N+S deposition for 27 years. Stream samples were collected as grab samples and event samples (e.g. during snowmelt and rain events) using ISCO™ automated samplers from both EB and WB streams. Stream chemistry was interpolated between collections to develop annual or monthly stream water fluxes.
Black-throated Blue Warbler nests at the Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest, 1986 - 2010
This dataset provides nest records for black-throated blue warblers breeding at the Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest. We located and monitored nesting attempts (successful and unsuccessful) of all warblers within three gridded study plots. Black-throated blue warblers at Hubbard Brook often attempt multiple broods per season, either as renests (i.e., attempts to produce another brood following a nest failure) or double-broods (i.e., attempts to produce another brood after successfully fledging offspring). Although they are usually socially monogamous, approximately 10% of males are bigamous (i.e., associated with two nesting females, either sequentially or simultaneously) each year. Nests were monitored on three gridded study plots at the HBEF: low elevation (250-350 m; 85 ha), middle elevation (450-600 m; 65 ha), and high elevation (750-850 m; 35 ha). See Rodenhouse et al. 2003 for plot details. These data were gathered as part of the Hubbard Brook Ecosystem Study (HBES). The HBES is a collaborative effort at the Hubbard Brook Experimental Forest, which is operated and maintained by the USDA Forest Service, Northern Research Station.
LEDAPS corrected Landsat Enhanced Thematic Mapper image data for Virginia Coast Reserve LTER collected on 1986-01-30
This LTER Remote Sensing spatial raster dataset consists of LEDAPS corrected Landsat Enhanced Thematic Mapper image data for Virginia Coast Reserve LTER, originally collected on 1986-01-30 (15:07:42.9710880Z) by Landsat 5, row 034, path 014. Cloud cover was 30 percent. The Landsat Ecosystem Disturbance Adaptive Processing System (LEDAPS) software was originally developed by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration–Goddard Space Flight Center and the University of Maryland to produce top-of-atmosphere reflectance from Landsat Thematic Mapper and Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus Level 1 digital numbers and to apply atmospheric corrections to generate a surface-reflectance product. The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has adopted the LEDAPS algorithm for producing the Landsat Surface Reflectance Climate Data Record.
