System Stability and Sustainability Data for 295 Agile Systems
<div><strong>Purpose</strong>: This data set is a collection of 295 "Agile Systems" performed by an European mid-tier software development consulting firm between June 2008 and August 2023. The systems were a mixture of Scrum, Kanban, LeSS, SAFe and other Agile-type approaches to work, including Agile In Name Only (AINO). The data set is the output from a script that analysed the raw data extracted from Jira with each Agile System corresponding to a Jira "Project".</div> <div> </div> <div>The script performed the following actions:</div> <div>1. Read the raw data for each system. (this is not included in this dataset)</div> <div>2. Remove Epics and Sub-tasks so all PBIs are approximately the same size.</div> <div>3. Remove any cancelled (and similar) PBIs so only PBIs analysed were done by a team.</div> <div>4A. Identify the Arrival rate (average rate at which PBIs were created over the duration of the system, Lambda) and the Service rate (average rate at which PBIs were moved to Done over the duration of the system, Mu). Also calculate the system size (total arrivals versus total services) at the end of the duration of the system. </div> <div>4B. Calcuate the Stability Metric (Mu / Lambda) and Inventory Days (Total System Size / Mu). </div> <div>4C. <p>Abstract</p> <p> </p> <p>This paper introduces a comprehensive theoretical analysis of the Birch-Swinnerton-Dyer Conjecture, a longstanding and profound challenge in modern number theory. Our approach is built upon a novel method of stable numerical integration and Fourier transformation, specifically tailored to analyze elliptic curves under extreme mathematical and computational conditions. The method developed aims to ensure the stability of numerical computations, even when dealing with highly complex parameters and challenging computational environments. By maintaining computational stability, this approach allows for precise analysis of elliptic curves, revealing deeper insights into their properties without compromising the accuracy of the results.</p> <p> </p> <p>The significance of this method lies in its ability to provide reliable convergence results, which are crucial for understanding the deeper mathematical structure of elliptic curves. Dataset of "Thermal Stability of Valuable Metals in Lithium-Ion Battery Cathode Materials: Temperature Range 500-800 °C"
<p>Examination of the cathode part of a lithium-ion battery, which is composed of NMC spinel 622 (LiNi0.6Mn0.2Co0.2O2), and investigation of its stability during annealing at temperatures ranging from 500-800 °C. Determination of valuable metals (Li, Ni, Mn and Co) after exposure to temperatures from 500 to 800 °C using ICP-OES analysis. The correlation between element stability and the temperature of PVDF release, a binder in cathodes, was demonstrated by DTA. SEM-EDS performed local chemical analysis. XRD characterised the crystalline structures of the original material and changes after annealing at 800 °C. This work builds on Part I, which focusses on the thermal stability of the material in lower temperature ranges. This research aimed to gain a deeper understanding of the pyrometallurgical aspect of the recycling process and identify the ideal annealing temperature for maximising the recovery of valuable metals. </p>
Data from: Genome-wide CRISPR synthetic lethality screen identifies a role for the ADP-ribosyltransferase PARP14 in replication fork stability controlled by ATR
<p>The DNA damage response is essential to maintain genomic stability, suppress replication stress, and protect against carcinogenesis. The ATR-CHK1 pathway is an essential component of this response, which regulates cell cycle progression in the face of replication stress. PARP14 is an ADP-ribosyltransferase with multiple roles in transcription, signaling, and DNA repair. To understand the biological functions of PARP14, we catalogued the genetic components that impact cellular viability upon loss of PARP14 by performing an unbiased, comprehensive, genome-wide CRISPR knockout genetic screen in PARP14-deficient cells. We uncovered the ATR-CHK1 pathway as essential for viability of PARP14-deficient cells, and identified regulation of DNA replication dynamics as an important mechanistic contributor to the synthetic lethality observed. Our work shows that PARP14 is an important modulator of the response to ATR-CHK1 pathway inhibitors.</p>
