DWDE drifters: Trajectories of surface drifters in the western Gulf of Mexico from the Deep-Water Dispersion Experiment
<p>This dataset is comprised of the final processed data collected by 207 surface drifters deployed in the western Gulf of Mexico during the Deep Water Dispersion Experiment (DWDE), as part of the project “Implementación de redes de observación oceanográficas (físicas geoquímicas, ecológicas) para la generación de escenarios ante posibles contingencias relacionadas a la exploración y producción de hidrocarburos en aguas profundas del Golfo de México” of the Gulf de Mexico Research Consortium (CIGoM), funded by CONACYT‐SENER‐Hydrocarbon Fund, Mexico”. </p> <p>The DWDE drifter data is also made available with the GulfDriftersWithDWDE dataset (<a href="http://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3985917">http://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.398591</a><a href="http://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3985916">6</a>), which is a merged and uniformly processed surface drifter dataset which includes publicly available data from several different drifter experiments. These latter database is the basis for the gridded product GulfFlow (<a href="http://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3978793">http://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3978793</a>). ATLAS/ICESat-2 L3B Mean Inland Surface Water Data V003
ATL22 is a derivative of the continuous Level 3A ATL13 Along Track Inland Surface Water Data product. ATL13 contains the high-resolution, along-track inland water surface profiles derived from analysis of the geolocated photon clouds from the ATL03 product. Starting from ATL13, ATL22 computes the mean surface water quantities with no additional photon analysis. The two data products, ATL22 and ATL13, can be used in conjunction as they include the same orbit and water body nomenclature independent from version numbers.
Multilayer Greenland Ice Surface Temperature, Surface Albedo, and Water Vapor from MODIS V001
This multilayer data set includes standard MODIS Collection 6.1 ice surface temperature (IST) and derived melt map, as well as MODIS Collection 6.0 albedo and water vapor for Greenland, at a spatial resolution of 0.78 km. These fields enable the relationship between IST and surface melt to be evaluated by researchers studying surface changes on the Greenland ice sheet. Water vapor is included to assist with evaluating the accuracy of the IST data and the model output. Also included is an ice mask and a basins mask for delineating drainage basins in Greenland. Surface temperature is a fundamental input for dynamical ice sheet models because it is a component of the ice sheet radiation budget and mass balance. Surface temperature also influences ice sheet processes, such as surface melt. This data set may be used as a resource for model-validation studies such as comparing MERRA-2 surface temperature with MODIS IST, and for comparing MODIS IST, albedo and water vapor with products from sensors on other satellites such as VIIRS and AIRS The temporal coverage for this data set spans 1 March 2000 through 31 December 2019, with the exception of the IST data, which has been extended through 31 Aug 2021.

This data set (ATL13) contains along-track surface water products for inland water bodies. Inland water bodies include lakes, reservoirs, rivers, bays, estuaries and a 7km near-shore buffer. Principal data products include the along-track water surface height and standard deviation, subsurface signal (532 nm) attenuation, significant wave height, wind speed, and coarse depth to bottom topography (where data permit).

ATL13QL is the quick look version of ATL13. Once final ATL13 files are available the corresponding ATL13QL files will be removed.
