The royal Lion Hunt of Ashurbanipal
The royal Lion Hunt of Ashurbanipal is depicted on a set of gypsum reliefs from the North Palace of Nineveh. They are widely regarded as "the supreme masterpieces of Assyrian art". They show a formalized ritual "hunt" by King Ashurbanipal (reigned 668 – c. 631/627 BC) in an arena, where captured Asian lions were released from cages for the king to slaughter with arrows, spears, or his sword. They were made about 645–635 BC, and originally formed different sequences placed around the palace. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

沖縄のシーサーのおきもの Okinawan souvenir, mini lion dog
# A mini lion dog (Okinawan souvenir) given to me by my ex-lover. They have yellow plates that says, "Smile! Happiness is coming." It has been sitting on my desk for 5 years, even when I has been with the person I am now in a relationship with. They did nothing wrong so I couldn't thrown them away, but this time, I made up my mind that it is a time to say good-bye to the Okinawan dog. # 以前、お付き合いしていた方から頂いた沖縄土産のシーサー。 今、お付き合いしている方と一緒にいるときも、5年間ずっと机の上においてあった。そろそろ奉納時ということで、ぷりぷりやまへ。 Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

Korean Lion Statue Scan
Reconstructed from 158 images in glorious 6000x4000 resolution using RealityCapture. Processed with Instant Meshes and Blender, although I can see noticable loss in detail after mesh decimation. No albedo texture available, but you can always slap the procedural marble or granite material onto it. Anyways, feel free to use it in your projects with no credit necessary. Lion of Saint Mark | Markuslöwe
Originally, eight such lions were created by the sculptor Josef Leimer in 1873 for the roof of Vienna's second southern train station. These Lions of Saint Marcus were a symbol for the established train connection from Vienna to Venice. Six of the eight winged stone lions were destroyed in World War II, the second of the two surviving lions is now in the park of Laxenburg Palace ("Schloss Laxenburg"). You can see a scan of it here: https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/markuslowe-233eeeeef34f4437bcaffd40445c703c The new central train station of Vienna ("Hauptbahnhof Wien") replaced the old southern train station. When the old station was destroyed the lion was removed and refurbished. On September 29, 2014, it was placed at the main entrance of the new train station; for conservation reasons inside the hall.
