Queen Of The Night - Magic Lens
Implementation of a "magic lens" to reveal a polychrome reconstruction of the Queen Of The Night, a Mesopotamian terracotta plaque. The "magic lens" effect is based on Miguelangelo Rosario's amazing work using refraction (https://sketchfab.com/miguelangelo2k). The Queen Of The Night, also known as the Burney Relief, was found in southern Iraq and made between 1800 and 1750 BC, this old Babylonian plaque depicts a mysterious figure that could be the demoness Lilitu or a Mesopotamian goddess. The polychrome 3D reconstruction was based on the digital reconstruction produced by the British Museum's New Media Unit also illustrated and described in the book The Queen Of The Night, by Dominique Collon.
