Interactive sliding window PCAs for An. funestus
<p>Interactive plots of sliding window PCAs along the genome of <em>An. funestus a</em>ccompanying the article "<strong>Genomic diversity of the African malaria vector Anopheles funestus"</strong> by Marilou Boddé et al. 2024. These six files include three files (one per chromosome) for the modern specimens (collected 2014-2018) and three files (one per chromosome) for the modern and historic specimens combined. To use these, download them and drag them into your browser. They are interactive and you can click on and off different populations used the legend keys on the right. Also, you can zoom by using the buttons on the top right or selecting an area of interest by click-drag-release.</p>

Cross Street - Window Fragment 1
This carving is the moulding for a medieval window, the two ogee headed windows can still be seen at the bottom. To the left a sow is feeding two piglests, while in the centre a damaged angel is surrounded by flying beasts. A floral design can be seen to the right. The carving is well preserved, there is no visible bio-growth. An electrical cable crosses the stone over the sow, and could lead to water collecting this area encouraging growth. Monsea Church (TN020-028001-) Trefoil Window
13th century single-light trefoil-headed (three lobed) sanstone window in the eastern gable of Monsea church ruins, Co. Tipperary. The medieval parish church of Monsea (Maigh Saotha/Plain of the diseases), stands in the diocese of Killaloe, barony of Ormond Lower. In the 13th century the eastern gable of the church was lit by three single light-trefoil headed windows. In the 15th/16th century the central single light trefoil-headed window was replaced by a twin-light window. Merlin- Window-16
Merlin or Doughiske Castle has a series of exquisitely decorated medieval windows. The carvings depict foliage and knotwork, with one windows showing a figure hanging from a round arched window. This has been identified as Ireland's smallest Sheela-na-Gig. The carvings largely function as decoration and may have been designed by the masons who carved them with little input from the castle owner. Annaduff Church - E Window - LE032-054001
[Source](webgis.archaeology.ie/historicenvironment/?SMRS=LE032-054001) This site is a protected structure and access is limited due to instability of the surrounding walls. The Window is located on the East Gable wall and was uncovered at time of recording (November 02 2019). The church is a rectangular limestone structure surviving to the eaves (ext. dims 14.2m E-W; 8.5m N-S; H 3.5m) with dressed quoins and a modernised doorway (Wth 1.7m) at W but the walls are completely overgrown with ivy. There are two blocked rectangular windows in both the S and N walls and a single-light decorated 15th-century window in the E gable which is inserted over the base of a simpler window and which is illustrated by Grosse.
