Stećak - medieval Bosnian tombstone at Kopošići
Small gabled roof stećak at the site of Kopošići near Ilijaš, central Bosnia. Most likely it belongs to a child of higher social status. It is decorated with a motive of corded ware. End of XIV and the beginning of XV century. Data were collected as part of a joint research project between GDH and the Association for the Digitization and Informatisation of Cultural Heritage (DIGI.BA) in Sarajevo. Description provided by Dr. Edin Bujak, Archaeologist, Univerzitet u Sarajevu. Model was created from 262 images from a Canon 5D mk IV. All data were processed in Reality Capture. Stećak - medieval Bosnian tombstone at Kopošići
Gabled roof stećak at the site of Kopošići near Ilijaš, central Bosnia. It is richly decorated with motives of bordes, spirals, grapes, rosettes and triangles on the roof sides of monument signaling that it represents eternal home. Local tradition connects this stećak with Vukava - wife of Great Bosnian Prince Batić Mirković who is burried next to this monument. Beginning of XV century. Data were collected as part of a joint research project between GDH and the Association for the Digitization and Informatisation of Cultural Heritage (DIGI.BA) in Sarajevo. Medieval archivolt of the Church of El Salvador (Cifuentes, Spain) Medieval archivolt of the thirteenth century belonging to the Portico de Santiago, in the parish church of El Salvador (Cifuentes, Spain). The image shows two human figures dressed in robes and held by an animal. Both figures seem to be reading a book, perhaps the sacred scriptures. To the left of the figures it is possible to see several Mason's marks. It corresponds to an ecclesiastical character blessing with the right hand. Specifically, it is a bishop as indicated by the staff and the miter. Above his head we can read the following inscription ANDREAS: EPS: SEGONTINUS. It would be Andrés, bishop of Sigüenza between 1262 and 1268.
