Medieval Lintel on Door, Arcidosso
A beautifully carved early renaissance lintel on a house door near the San Niccolo church in Arcidosso, Grosseto, Tuscany. It was the house of Pietro Amati, a sculptor from Arcidosso who died in 1639, the lintel shows in the center a possible Christologic monogram IHS or, alternately, the crest of a noble family. The piece is reused in its present position and was walled upside-down as shown by the orientation of the decoration. [source: S. Nanni, s.d.] Model was created in Reality Capture using 157 photographs. The Mt. Amiata Project is an ongoing GDH collaboration involving faculty and students at the University of Florence and the University of Siena. We could not have done this project without the considerable support of the Municipality of Arcidosso. Source: Objaverse 1.0 / Sketchfab

Medieval Tombstone, Montemor-o-Novo
Tombstone in semi-rectangular shape, made out of marble, with an orbicular cross, usually known as the "Templar cross". This piece is actually in deposit at the Museum of the Convento de S. Domingos, in Montemor-o-Novo. Provenance: This piece comes from the Castle of Montemor-o-Novo, probably from the archaeological deposit of the Church of Santiago, which existed there until the 1980s. In the medieval village inside the fortified walls there were four parish churches (Santa Maria da Vila, Santa Maria do Bispo, Santiago and S. João Baptista), and cemetaries were built around each one. During the Middle Ages it was customary to mark the graves with tombstones, which were nothing more than slabs of stone placed standing straight, on which were engraved religious symbols and on which sometimes was indicated the profession of the deceased. This set of stelae comes safely from the ancient medieval cemeteries inside the castle, although it is not possible to determine to which church (s) it was associated. DStretch Cucufate Medieval Frescos, Portugal
DStretch Version-SLOW LOAD Frescos in the Medieval convent at the Roman villa of São Cucufate is located in the town of Vila de Frades - Vidigueira (Portugal). The origins of this town date back to the 1st century AD, although it was in operation until the end of the fall of the Roman Empire in the 5th century, or even beyond. Its moment of greatest splendor occurred in the 4th century, the date of which most of the buildings still preserved date. The state of conservation of the remains is exceptional. The villa had fantastic balneae and gardens for the enjoyment of the owner and his family. A special feature of this site is the remains of the convert and preserved frescos. The archaeological site is open to the public and has an Interpretation and Visitor Center. Processed from 7555 images, completely modeled in Reality Capture. Alarcão, Jorge de (1998).
