DAWN VESTA GRAVITY SCIENCE DERIVED SCIENCE DATA V2.0
This data set contains archival results from gravity investigations conducted during the Dawn mission while the spacecraft was in orbit around the asteroid Vesta. Radio measurements were made using the Dawn spacecraft and Earth-based stations of the NASA Deep Space Network (DSN). The data set includes a spherical harmonic model of Vesta's gravity field generated by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and radial gravity acceleration map; these results were derived from raw radio tracking data.
PVO VENUS RADIO SCIENCE OPENLOOP ODR VERSION 1.0
The DSP-R is a computer-controlled subsystem that digitally samples a received spacecraft signal (both X and S-band) through the use of four analog-to-digital (A-D) converters. The digitized samples, along with the monitor data necessary to reconstruct the signal, are recorded on tape, and/or transmitted in realtime to SFOC. Analysis of variations in the amplitude, phase, and frequency of the signal provides information on the ring structure, atmospheric density, magnetic field, and charged-particle environment of planets which occult the spacecraft. Additionally, this signal is needed for gravity wave detection.
National Space Science Data Center Master Catalog
The National Space Science Data Center serves as the permanent archive for NASA space science mission data. 'Space science' means astronomy and astrophysics, solar and space plasma physics, and planetary and lunar science. As permanent archive, NSSDC teams with NASA's discipline-specific space science 'active archives' which provide access to data to researchers and, in some cases, to the general public. Search by event, spacecraft, experiment, map, or publication query. NSSDC is part of the Solar System Exploration Data Services Office (SSEDSO) in the Solar System Exploration Division at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD.
DAWN CERES RAW GRAVITY SCIENCE V2.0
This data set contains archival raw, partially processed, and ancillary/supporting gravity science data acquired during the Dawn mission while the spacecraft was in orbit around the asteroid Ceres. The radio observations were carried out using the Dawn spacecraft and Earth-based receiving stations of the NASA Deep Space Network (DSN). The data set was designed primarily to support generation of high-resolution gravity field models for Ceres. Of most interest are likely to be the Orbit Data Files in the ODF directory and Tracking and Navigation Files in the TNF directory, which provided the raw input to gravity investigations, as well as the ionospheric and tropospheric media calibration files in the ION and TRO directories, respectively.
INTEGRAL Public Pointed Science Window Data
Because of the pointing-slew-pointing dithering-nature of INTEGRAL operations, each observation of a celestial target is actually comprised of numerous individual S/C pointings and slews. In addition, there are periods within a given sequence where scheduled observations occur, i.e., engineering windows, yet the instruments still acquire data. The INTEGRAL Science Data Center (ISDC) generalizes all of these data acquisition periods into so-called `Science Windows.' A Science Window (ScW) is a continuous time interval during which all data acquired by the INTEGRAL instruments result from a specific S/C attitude orientation state. Pointing (fixed orientation), Slew (changing orientation), and Engineering (undefined orientation) windows are all special cases of a Science Window. The key is that the same attitude information may be associated with all acquired data of a given Science Window. Note that it is possible to divide a time interval that qualifies as a Science Window under this definition into several smaller Science Windows using arbitrary criteria. The INTEGRAL Public Pointed Science Window Data Catalog is a subset of the INTEGRAL Science Window Data Catalog. It only includes pointed science windows that have non-private proprietary status and at least one instrument's "good" exposure time greater than zero. This database table was first created at the HEASARC in October 2004. It is a slightly modified mirror of the online database maintained by the ISDC at the URL http://isdc.unige.ch/index.cgi?Data+browse
The HEASARC version of this table is updated automatically within a day of the ISDC updating their database table. This is a service provided by NASA HEASARC .
