The Mars Exploration Rover 2 (MER1) Radio Science (RS) data archive contains raw radio tracking data collected during the surface lifetime of the MER1 Rover. The data contain potentially valuable information on the rotation dynamics of Mars, extending the previous data available from the Viking and Mars Pathfinder landers. For more information on the earlier investigations see [FOLKNERETAL1997A].

Van Allen Probe B Electric and Magnetic Field Instrument Suite and Integrated Science (EMFISIS) Density and other Parameters derived by digitizing Traces on Spectrograms, Level 4 (L4), 0.5 s Data
Van Allen Probe B, Electric and Magnetic Field Instrument Suite and Integrated Science, EMFISIS, derived Density and other Parameters inferred by digitizing Traces on Spectrograms. The EMFISIS Waves Instrument provides a Measure of the Frequency of the Upper Hybrid Resonance Band thereby providing an accurate Determination of the Electron Density. The Electron Density is most easily and accurately measured by Means of Resonances and Cutoffs in the Wave Spectrum rather than Particle Detector Measurements which are subject to Spacecraft Charging and other complicating Factors.
Balloon Observation Platform for Planetary Science (BOPPS) 2014 Observations
This bundle collects all the observational data and documentation generated as part of the first Balloon Observation Platform for Planetary Science (BOPPS) flight to return planetary science data.
Radio Science Documentation Bundle
This bundle contains documentation about data products that are collected using radio science and supporting equipment. With one exception, each member collection contains one or more versions of a single Software Interface Specification (SIS) or an equivalent document. A SIS describes the format and content of a data file at a granularity suffient for use -- typically byte-level, but sometimes bit-level. Examples of products and descriptions of their use may also be included in a collection, as appropriate. The exception is the DOCUMENT collection, which contains supporting material -- usually journal publications, technical reports, or other documents that describe investigations, analysis methods, and/or data but not at the level of a SIS. Members of the DOCUMENT collection were usually released once, whereas a SIS often evolves over many years.

VO2 MARS RADIO SCIENCE SUBSYSTEM RESAMPLED LOS GRAVITY V1.0
Line of sight (LOS) gravity data were obtained as part of the Radio Science Experiment by tracking 79 orbits of the Viking Orbiter 2. The data set consists of a table with the following columns: spacecraft latitude, longitude (degrees), accelerations, and altitude (km). The acceleration data were determined from differentiation of raw Doppler residuals and are expressed as units of mm/s**2. To obtain LOS gravity in milligals, accelerations need to be multiplied by 100. An acceleration of 1.20 mm/s**2, therefore, corresponds to 120 mgal, a large gravity anomaly.

MGS RADIO SCIENCE -- SCIENCE DATA PRODUCTS V1.0
This data set contains archival results from radio science investigations conducted during the Mars Global Surveyor (MGS) mission. Radio measurements were made using the MGS spacecraft and Earth-based stations of the NASA Deep Space Network (DSN). The data set includes high-resolution spherical harmonic models of Mars' gravity field generated by groups at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Goddard Space Flight Center, covariance matrices for some models, and maps for some models; these results were derived from raw radio tracking data. Also included are profiles of atmospheric temperature and pressure and ionospheric electron density, derived from phase measurements collected during radio occultations. The data set also includes analyses of transient surface echoes observed close to occultations during the first few years of MGS operations and a single set of power spectra acquired during a quasi-specular bistatic radar experiment in 2000. The atmospheric and surface investigations were conducted by Radio Science Team members at Stanford University. The data set also includes 93 line-of-sight acceleration profiles derived at JPL from radio tracking data collected near periapsis while Mars Global Surveyor was in its Science Phasing Orbit and below its nominal Mapping altitude of 400 km. The data were delivered to PDS in approximately chronological order at the rate of one CD-WO volume (typically 100 MB) every three months.

Physical Sciences Informatics (PSI) System data repository- International Space Station (ISS)
NASA’s Physical Sciences Research Program, along with its predecessors, has conducted significant fundamental and applied research in the physical sciences. The International Space Station (ISS) is an orbiting laboratory that provides an ideal facility to conduct long-duration experiments in reduced gravity and allows continuous and interactive research similar to Earth-based laboratories. This enables scientists to pursue innovations and discoveries not currently achievable by other means. NASA’s Physical Sciences Research Program also benefits from collaborations with several of the ISS International Partners—Europe, Russia, Japan, and Canada—foreign governments with space programs, such as France, Germany, and Italy.
