Rhizoprionodon oligolinx Springer, 1964 was used as outgroup. Scale bar indicates number of substitutions per site. Figure numbers reference specimens shown in Figure 8, with the exception of the one indicted by an asterix. Question mark signals unconfirmed reports from R. acutus in India; scoleces of these are after Shinde et al. (1984), Shinde et al. (1987), Jadhav & Jadhav (1990), Motinge & Pardeshi (1993) and Jadhav (1993).
