Data from: The clathrin adaptor complex AP-2 mediates endocytosis of BRASSINOSTEROID INSENSITIVE1 in Arabidopsis
Clathrin-mediated endocytosis (CME) regulates many aspects of plant development, including hormone signaling and responses to environmental stresses. Despite the importance of this process, the machinery that regulates CME in plants is largely unknown. In mammals, the heterotetrameric ADAPTOR PROTEIN COMPLEX-2 (AP-2) is required for the formation of clathrin-coated vesicles at the plasma membrane (PM). Although the existence of AP-2 has been predicted in Arabidopsis thaliana, the biochemistry and functionality of the complex is still uncharacterized. Here, we identified all the subunits of the Arabidopsis AP-2 by tandem affinity purification and found that one of the large AP-2 subunits, AP2A1, localized at the PM and interacted with clathrin. Furthermore, endocytosis of the leucine-rich repeat receptor kinase, BRASSINOSTEROID INSENSITIVE1 (BRI1), was shown to depend on AP-2. Knockdown of the two Arabidopsis AP2A genes or overexpression of a dominant-negative version of the medium AP-2 subunit, AP2M, impaired BRI1 endocytosis and enhanced the brassinosteroid signaling. Our data reveal that the CME machinery in Arabidopsis is evolutionarily conserved and that AP-2 functions in receptor-mediated endocytosis.
Prexer AP-44 Projector
The Prexer AP-44 film projector, manufactured in the 1970s, is designed to project films from a 16mm tape. It was designed to be used in small projection rooms or other rooms with limited dimensions. As an optical device, the Prexer AP-44 allows projection of images onto a projection screen, for which it uses film tape wound onto two reels. Enclosed in the body of the device is the mechanism for the continuous movement of film at a speed of 16 frames per second or more, enabling the creation of the impression of a moving image. Like other projectors made by ŁZK, this device was advertised as "easy to operate" and "durable in use", and, above all, as providing a "sharp, stable and clear image and clean, undistorted sound". Phase plots for the sample of super-slowly rotating Ap (ssrAp) stars from the Zwicky Transient Facility survey
<p>This figure (B.1) is supplementary material to the paper "A new sample of super-slowly rotating Ap (ssrAp) stars from the Zwicky Transient Facility survey" by S. Huemmerich, K. Bernhard and E. Paunzen that has been accepted at Astronomy & Astrophysics (A&A). It shows the light curves of all sample stars, phased with the periods derived in our study (cf. Table A.1) and indicated in the plots. Red and blue symbols correspond to Zwicky Transient Facility (ZTF) <em>r</em> and <em>g</em> band data, respectively. For clarity, <em>g</em> band data have been shifted by varying amounts in the phase plots.</p>
Distribution. Llamas are found at 3800-5000 m above sea level in the Central Andes, from C Peru to W Bolivia and N Argentina. Llama distribution reached its apex during the expansion of the Inca Empire (1470-1532 ap), when pack trains were used to carry supplies for the royal armies to S Colombia and C Chile. Quantitative and qualitative inventories of end-of life practices for AP
<p><span>A special protocol has been developed for the collection of samples of both virgin AP and APW as part of subtask 1.2.1. This protocol specifically targets farms that use various AP products and aims to study the degradation of AP during their use in open field or internal crop protection conditions.</span></p> <p><span>Farmers were requested to provide samples of each AP category used during the cultivation period, including mulching film, direct cover, irrigation tape (if used for one season), twines, clips, somatization films, traps for insects etc. Virgin AP samples were collected prior to their application in the field while used AP (APW) samples were collected at the end of the cultivation season regardless of the subsequent EoL management practices. In cases where AP and APW had a lifetime exceeding one cultivation period, farmers were contacted to determine if they could provide the requested samples within the project duration. </span></p>
