<p>​The data consists of raw images analyzed&nbsp;for the paper &#39;Sulfo-SMCC Prevents Annealing of Taxol-Stabilized&nbsp;Microtubules In Vitro&#39;.</p> <ol> <li>For all files: different data sets are indicated by using prefix A, 2A , 3A&nbsp;for untreated&nbsp;microtubules, and&nbsp;prefix&nbsp;B, 2B, 3B&nbsp;for sulfo-SMCC treated microtubules.</li> <li>Filenames that include&nbsp;time points of&nbsp;0 h, 6 h, or 24 h&nbsp;show images of treated and untreated&nbsp;microtubules&nbsp;at&nbsp;different time points. This data was used for Fig 1 in the paper.</li> <li>The files with prefix &#39;dual&#39; refer to data from dual colored experiments.&nbsp;Microtubules were labeled with green dye (488 in filenames)&nbsp;and red dye (TMR in filenames). This data was used for Fig 2 in the paper.</li> <li>The files with prefix &#39;chemical&#39; are from one experiment with different chemical treatments on MTs. This repository also contains the Analyze.m MTEX script which has been used for the post-processing of the EBSD files. Selectivity improvement of polysulfone-zeolite templated carbon membrane by annealing and coating treatment for CO2/CH4 and H2/CH4 separation

<p>Natural gas, which majorly consists of methane (CH4), is a renewable energy source widely used as fuel, as well as hydrogen (H2). However, in its production process of each gas containing other impurity gasses. Therefore, membrane technology is needed to separate the gasses from the impurities. Mixed Matrix Membrane (MMM) is a more promising membrane compared to the others. Zeolite Templated Carbon-based MMM offers a good separation performance because of ZTC's large surface area and well-defined pore structure. However, the interfacial void in MMM is challenging to be prevented, which contributes to the reduced separation performance. This study aims to enhance separation performance by modifying membrane surfaces using various methods. MMM PSF/ZTC modified by annealing at 120, 150, and 190 °C; coating using 0.01, 0.03, and 0.05 mol tetramethylorthosilicate (TMOS); and both combinations annealing at 190 °C and coating using 0.03 mol TMOS. MMM PSF/ZTC was successfully significantly improved CO2/CH4 selectivity by both combinations of annealed at 190 °C and coated 0.03 mol TMOS from 1.37 to 5.90 (331%) and H2/CH4 selectivity by coating with 0.03 mol TMOS from 4.58 to 65.76 (1378%). The enhancement of selectivity was due to structural changes of the membrane that was denser and smoother, which SEM and AFM observed. In this study, annealing and coating treatment are the methods that can use for improving the polymer matrix and filler particle adhesion.</p>

Electron backscatter diffraction data and backscatter electron images from four conditions from a cold-rolled and annealed Al-Mn alloy

<p>Raw electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) datasets and backscatter electron (BSE) images acquired from four conditions from a cold-rolled and non-isothermally annealed Al-Mn alloy: as deformed, 175 C, 300 C and 325 C. The heating rate is 50 C/h. The material is recovered after 300 C and partly recrystallized after 325 C.</p> <p>The data forms part of the supplementary material to the paper &quot;Orientation dependent pinning of (sub)grains by dispersoids during recovery and recrystallization in an Al-Mn alloy&quot; (2023) published in Acta Materialia (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.actamat.2023.118761).</p> <p>The data was acquired in order to study the effect of particles on recovery and recrystallization in the Al-Mn alloy.
