1923.06.0545 :: figur: hund, Lergodsfigur. Stor hund av lergods med tjock mage och knubbiga ben. Beträffande dessa hundar, som redan Hernandez (1651) beskrev från Michuacan, och vilka troligen härstamma från taxen, se Caecilie Seler: Auf alten Wegen in Mexico und Guatemala sid. 351/2. Hunden är jämte kalkonen mexicanernasenda husdjur och spelar en stor roll i detta folks religiösa liv. Hundar av rödgul färg voro gravgåvor hos aztekerna, på det att dessa djur skulle föra dem över de nio underjordiska strömmarna. Hos Maya ansågs hunden som majsbringare och vissa årsfester frambars hundar som offer, gjorda av lergods, vilka på ryggen buro majskakor. Hos atlantkustens stammar var hunden ett vanligt offerdjur, vilket bevisas av bilderna i Codex Nuttall fol. 17 och 69. Möjligen äro samma tankar förbundna med lerhundarna från Colima. Plans for 3D Puzzles of Caddo Ceramics from 41WD60
<p>These plans for 3D puzzles were generated using 123D Make 1.6.0, from .stl (3D) files of Caddo vessels from the Quitman Lake Burial Site (41WD60). The plans can be glued to cardboard then cut out, or cut with a laser cutter using the .pdf files.</p> <p>Many thanks to the Caddo Nation of Oklahoma and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for the requisite permissions to create the 3D models.</p>

We had a little excavation in the village Nagylóc (Northern Hungary), where had been excavated a ceramic vessel up side down from the 16-17th century. Fragment of coiled ceramic horn
3D model of a fragment of a 16th-century ceramic trumpet found during the excavation of the Skriðuklaustur monastery in eastern Iceland. ICP-MS analysis revealed that the trumpet was produced in a workshop in Lower Saxony, Germany. From there it was first transported to Bremen or Hamburg and then shipped to Iceland with Hanseatic merchants. Such trumpets were called "pilgrim horns" and were commonly used to call the brethren to services. No other ceramic pieces of this kind have been found in Iceland before. Physical object held by the National Museum of Iceland nr: 2008-36-921. Found 22/07/2008, found & logged by BB/GT Part of the Skriðuklaustur Monastery 1550 reconstruction.
