Part of a collection of 15th-18th Century French graffiti documented at the Chateau de la Roche-Guyon, France during the summer of 2018. Documentation done with Sony A7III and processed in Reality Capture from 160 photos. GDH ID Graffiti 9. This dimension stone presents an engraved graffiti and another painted with charcoal. Engraved graffiti overlays the painting and, in fact, has damaged it in some areas, so it should be considered more modern or simply later. The symbol that seems engraved can be seen in other parts of the building as in graffiti 8, also digitized by GDH in this same collection. It may be an imitation of the La Roche family crest. Medieval graffiti from Calatrava la Vieja, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. Islamic almohad period (1195-1212 CE). They were discovered in 1984, during the ecavation works carried out under the direction of the architect Miguel Fisac. They are located in the western wall of the alcázar, and were made with a sharp object in the south face of the southern tower.They represent six and eight-pointed stars and names of people written in arabic. This symbol also known as the star of David is now associated with the Jewish beliefs. Model was created in Reality Capture using 900 photographs. The Mt. Amiata Project is an ongoing GDH collaboration involving faculty and students at the University of Florence and the University of Siena. Graffiti laneway 2 - revised
This scene is an improved version of this inital reconstruction: https://skfb.ly/ENRw Calibrated lens settings and some quick masking of the sky from all images produced more accurate camera positions. These two aspects are going into my list of requirements for working with fisheye images. This result is closer to what I was expecting for the camera orientations and path. The biggest problems were from not having adequate overlap of the bins, but I should have expected that from my rule of thumb for camera - subject distance... but that will come with more practise once I bed down the camera orientations. Medieval graffiti from Calatrava la Vieja, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. Late medieval Christian period (15th century CE). They were discovered in 1984, during the excavation works carried out under the direction of the architect Miguel Fisac. They are located in the crypt of the Santa María La Blanca Church, inside the alcazar, and were made with a sharp object in the plaster of the south wall of the crypt. The main motif is a Latin sailboat represented with precision and sense of detail, probably as a votive graffiti. It depicts the complete rigging and the hull. GDH Interior Graffiti Panel 6.
