GPAM: Genetic Programming with Associative Memory - datasets for symbolic regression

This collection contains five data sets for symbolic regression generated using functions known as Koza-1, Nguyen-7, Nguyen-10, Korns-1, and Korns-4. In each function, we replaced some data points with randomly generated values from interval [−10, 10].

Pictish Symbol Stone (Replica), Brough of Birsay

A replica of a Pictish Symbol stone originally discovered on the Brough of Birsay, Orkney in 1935. The original stone dates from the seventh or eighth century. It was found incomplete and broken into sixteen fragments. The stone was originally a monument which lay within a Pictish settlement on the Brough of Birsay, a tidal island in the north west of the Orkney Islands. The stone was potentially broken in the 9th century when the Pictish inhabitants of the Brough were replaced by Norse invaders. 19th Century Headstone with Arma Christi Symbols

Early 19th century headstone dating from 1825 located in the northwest corner of the chancel of the medieval church ruins (TN009-003001-) at Kilbarron, County Tipperary, standing on the northern side of the chancel at the western end immediately inside the chancel arch. The top half of the headstone of the Costello family of Ballinderry, County Tipperary is decorated with symbols of the Passion of Christ also known as the Arma Christi. The symbols visible on this headstone include the sun-face, pincers, nails, rooster or cockerel within a circular-shaped floral wreath, 2 urns or Ciborium's, 2 flowering potted plants, ascending dove beneath the I H S monogram, moon-face in profile, floriated cross, hammer and nails. The inscription is framed within a floral border running around the edge of the headstone.
