PMID: 30808198.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is the abstract:</p> <p><strong>Background: </strong>Inter-country variation in patient-reported outcomes of adults with congenital heart disease has been observed. Country-specific characteristics may play a role. A previous study found an association between healthcare system performance and patient-reported outcomes. However, it remains unknown which specific components of the countries' healthcare system performance are of importance for patient-reported outcomes.</p> <p><strong>Aims: </strong>The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between components of healthcare system performance and patient-reported outcomes in a large sample of adults with congenital heart disease.</p> <p><strong>Methods: </strong>A total of 1591 adults with congenital heart disease (median age 34 years; 51% men; 32% simple, 48% moderate and 20% complex defects) from eight European countries were included in this cross-sectional study. The following patient-reported outcomes were measured: perceived physical and mental health, psychological distress, health behaviours and quality of life. The Euro Health Consumer Index 2015 and the Euro Heart Index 2016 were used as measures of healthcare system performance. General linear mixed models were conducted, adjusting for patient-specific variables and unmeasured country differences.</p> <p><strong>Results: </strong>Health risk behaviours were associated with the Euro Health Consumer Index subdomains about patient rights and information, health outcomes and financing and access to pharmaceuticals. Perceived physical health was associated with the Euro Health Consumer Index subdomain about prevention of chronic diseases. Subscales of the Euro Heart Index were not associated with patient-reported outcomes.</p> <p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>Several features of healthcare system performance are associated with perceived physical health and health risk behaviour in adults with congenital heart disease. Before recommendations for policy-makers and clinicians can be conducted, future research ought to investigate the impact of the healthcare system performance on outcomes further.</p> <p> </p>

<p>The EU-PolarNet 2 Workshop, arranged on 7<sup>th</sup> June 2022, aimed to collate, in a co-design process, actionable policy-level recommendations to accelerate the development of Integrated Polar Observing System (IPOS).</p> <p> </p> <p>Deliverable (D6.4 Minutes of a Workshop with Coordinators of European Polar Observing System) presents the minutes of the meeting, including a detailed analysis of the workshop outcomes and the resulting recommendations. The recommendations will feed into a white paper to accelerate the development of a sustained and fully integrated Polar observing system (D6.7), published in 2024.</p> <p>This resource contains Annexes to the deliverable, which are for project internal purpose only.</p>
Receiver Function Open-Access Dataset for the European Alps
<p>This dataset comprises of the receiver function traces calculated using seismic waveform data from the <a href="http://www.alparray.ethz.ch/en/home/">AlpArray Seismic Network</a>, three other temporary seismic networks, and permanent stations in the broader European Alpine region. We use this dataset to compile a new Moho depth map for the broader European Alps.</p> <p>In particular, we include:</p> <ol> <li>the radial receiver function traces in .SAC format (RRF.zip). One SAC trace per station and teleseismic earthquake. </li> <li>the transverse (TRF.zip) traces in .SAC format. </li> <li>the receiver function stacks from all the seismic stations plotted versus back-azimuth in .png format (RRF_plots.zip and TRF_plots.zip)</li> </ol> <p>For details on how to read and process the receiver function traces have a look at the README file of the repository.</p>

<p>This record contains raw data related to article “Endoscopic suturing for GI applications: initial results from a prospective multicenter European registry"</p> <p>Abstract</p> <p><strong>Background and aims: </strong> OverStitch devices (OverStitch and OverStitch Sx; Apollo Endosurgery, Inc, Austin, Tex, USA) are used for a wide range of applications. A European registry was created to prospectively collect technical and clinical data regarding both systems to provide procedural outcomes and to find correlation between procedural characteristics and outcomes. This study shows the initial results of the first 3 years of the registry.</p> <p><strong>Methods: </strong> Patients who underwent endoscopic suturing from January 2018 to January 2021 at 9 centers were enrolled. Data regarding the disease treated,suturing pattern and outcomes were registered. Technical feasibility (success reaching the target area), technical success (success placing sutures), and clinical success (complete resolution of the clinical issue) were recorded and analyzed.</p> <p><strong>Results: </strong> During the study period, 137 patients (57.7% men) were enrolled with 100% technical feasibility rate. Endoscopic suturing was successfully performed in 136 cases (16.7% with OverStitch Sx), obtaining a technical success rate of 99.3%. No adverse events were recorded. Overall clinical success was 89%. Mucosal defects were sutured in 32 patients (100% clinical success). Leaks/fistulas were treated in 23 patients (64.7% clinical success). The clinical success of stent fixations (n = 38) was 85%. Perforations (n = 22) were repaired with a clinical success of 94.7%. No significant correlation between location, suture pattern or number, and the success was found, except in case of fistulas where fistulas <1 cm treated by a continuous suture were more likely to achieve clinical success in the follow-up (P < .001).</p> <p><strong>Conclusions: </strong> OverStitch-based suturing is technically feasible regardless of site and method of suturing, with no cases of failure. The overall technical success rate of 99.3% and the clinical outcome success rate of 89% demonstrate that OverStitch technology provides reliable suturing with clinical advantages, especially with fistulas <1 cm.</p>

Lists of alien flora of both Republic of Mordovia and each municipal district are presented on separate sheets of *XLSX files in Russian [Dataset(alien plants_Mordovia)RUS.xlsx]. For each species, the Latin name of the species and family is given according to Silaeva et al. (2010) and the Latin name of each taxon according to POWO (2023). The dataset provides information about the distribution of each species in districts of the Republic of Mordovia, as well as groups according to the time of introduction, the way of introduction, and the level of naturalisation.</p>
