RGB-Based Behavior Cloning Dataset for Surgical Robotics: 99,522 Episodes of Optimal Demonstrations
<h3><strong>Dataset Description</strong>:</h3> <p>This dataset contains 99,522 episodes of RGB-based state-action-reward expert demonstrations collected from a reaching task within a surgical robotics simulation environment, LapGym (Scheikl et al.). The data was generated using the LapGym ReachEnv, where a robotic grasper is tasked with reaching a specific point in 3D space. Each episode consists of a series of RGB images (64x64 pixels), corresponding actions, rewards, and terminal flags, designed for training behavior cloning and offline RL algorithms.</p> <p>This dataset was created for the paper "Assessing Behavior Cloning with RGB Inputs in Surgical Robotics Through Dataset Ablation". Synergistic homovalent and heterovalent substitution effects on piezoelectric and relaxor behavior in lead-free BaTiO3 ceramics
<p>This study investigates lead-free BaTiO3 (BT) perovskite ceramics, unraveling the synergistic effects arising from simultaneous homovalent (Zr) and heterovalent (Nb) substitution. Focusing on piezoelectric, ferroelectric, and relaxor behaviors, this research employs a comprehensive suite of analyses, including temperature-dependent<br>dielectric measurements, polarization-electric field hysteresis loops, and bipolar strain measurements. Significantly, our study unveils that the simultaneous substitution of Zr and Nb in the BT lattice induces roomtemperature relaxor behavior at relatively low concentrations (5 % Zr and 3 % Nb), yielding higher permittivity and larger maximum polarization compared to single element (Zr or Nb) substituted BT relaxors. Bipolar strain measurements showcase substantial large-signal d33* values (~250 pm/V) across a broad temperature range (–50 ◦C to 30 ◦C) for BT ceramics with simultaneous 5 % Zr and 2 % Nb substitution. This research advances understanding of homovalent and heterovalent substitution in BT ceramics and opens avenues for tailoring properties to suit specific applications. </p>

Unveiling the role of miRNAs from MSC-EVs in neuroinflammation and behavioral impairments induced by chronic alcohol consumption
<p><strong>Part of the project: "Unveiling the role of miRNAs from MSC-EVs in neuroinflammation and behavioral impairments induced by chronic alcohol consumption."</strong></p> <p>This dataset contains small RNA sequencing data derived from extracellular vesicles (EVs) isolated from human adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSC-EVs). The data was generated to study the potential therapeutic effects of repeated intravenous administration of MSC-EVs on neuroinflammation, cognitive dysfunction, and addictive-like behaviors induced by chronic alcohol consumption.</p> <p>Total RNA from MSC-EVs was extracted using the Total Exosome RNA Isolation Kit (Invitrogen). Small RNA libraries were constructed with the Small RNA-Seq Library Prep Kit (Lexogen) and sequenced on the Illumina NextSeq 550 platform with a 1 x 150 bp read length. The raw sequencing data are provided in fastq format.</p> <p> </p> <div> </div>

Data and code for 'Influence of cross-correlation on the modelled uncertainty in stress–strain behavior of soft clays'
<p>This dataset contains data and code used in the research work for the manuscript "Influence of cross-correlation on the modelled uncertainty in stress–strain behavior of soft clays". The study considered two case studies, Haarajoki clay and Suurpelto clay. Two settlement calculation methods were used: compression index method and Janbu (tangential stiffness) method. In addition, clay database FI-CLAY/14/856 was extended and used to study cross-correlations between compressibility paramaters at different clay sites. Version 2 of FI-CLAY/14/856 is provided, including some other updates and corrections also.</p> <p>The Monte Carlo simulation with Gaussian copula was implemented with Python in Jupyter Notebook environment. In addition to data and code, supplementary figures are also provided. Medial amygdala ERα expression influences monogamous behavior of male prairie voles in the field
<p>Formation of long-term pair-bonds is a complex process, involving multiple neural circuits, and is context- and experience-dependent. While laboratory studies using prairie voles have identified the involvement of several neural mechanisms, efforts to translate these findings into predictable field outcomes have been ambiguous at best. Here we test the hypothesis that inhibition of estrogen receptor alpha (ERα) in the medial amygdala of male prairie voles would significantly increase the expression of social monogamy in the field. Prairie vole populations of equal sex ratio were established in outdoor enclosures with males bred to overexpress ERα and display reduced prosocial behavior. Medial amygdala ERα expression was knocked down in half the males per population. Knockdown-males displayed a greater degree of social monogamy in five of the eight indices assessed. This study demonstrates the robust nature of ERα in playing a critical role in the expression of male social monogamy in a field setting.</p>
