The Visible and Infrared Imager/Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) is a multi-disciplinary instrument that is being flown on the Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS) series of spacecraft, including the Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (S-NPP) that launched in October 2011. JPSS is a multi-platform, multi-agency program that consolidates the polar orbiting spacecraft of NASA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). S-NPP is the initial spacecraft in this series, and VIIRS is the successor to MODIS for Earth science data product generation. VIIRS has 22 spectral bands ranging from 412 nm to 12 nm. There are 16 moderate-resolution bands (750m at nadir), 5 image-resolution bands (375m), and one day-night band (DNB).

INTEGRAL Public Pointed Science Window Data

Because of the pointing-slew-pointing dithering-nature of INTEGRAL operations, each observation of a celestial target is actually comprised of numerous individual S/C pointings and slews. In addition, there are periods within a given sequence where scheduled observations occur, i.e., engineering windows, yet the instruments still acquire data. The INTEGRAL Science Data Center (ISDC) generalizes all of these data acquisition periods into so-called `Science Windows.' A Science Window (ScW) is a continuous time interval during which all data acquired by the INTEGRAL instruments result from a specific S/C attitude orientation state. Pointing (fixed orientation), Slew (changing orientation), and Engineering (undefined orientation) windows are all special cases of a Science Window. The key is that the same attitude information may be associated with all acquired data of a given Science Window. Note that it is possible to divide a time interval that qualifies as a Science Window under this definition into several smaller Science Windows using arbitrary criteria. The INTEGRAL Public Pointed Science Window Data Catalog is a subset of the INTEGRAL Science Window Data Catalog. It only includes pointed science windows that have non-private proprietary status and at least one instrument's "good" exposure time greater than zero. This database table was first created at the HEASARC in October 2004. It is a slightly modified mirror of the online database maintained by the ISDC at the URL <a href="http://isdc.unige.ch/index.cgi?Data+browse">http://isdc.unige.ch/index.cgi?Data+browse</a> <p> The HEASARC version of this table is updated automatically within a day of the ISDC updating their database table. This is a service provided by NASA HEASARC .

<p>This record contains data related to article&nbsp;&quot;Post-biopsy cell-free DNA from blood: an open window on primary prostate cancer genetics and biology&quot;.</p> <p>Circulating cell-free DNA (ccfDNA), released from normal and cancerous cells, is a promising biomarker for cancer detection as in neoplastic patients it is enriched in tumor-derived DNA (ctDNA). ctDNA contains cancer-specific mutations and epigenetic modifications, which can have diagnostic/prognostic value. However, in primary tumors, and in particular in localized prostate cancer (PCa), the fraction of ctDNA is very low and conventional strategies to study ccfDNA are unsuccessful. Here we demonstrate that prostate biopsy, by causing multiple injuries to the organ, leads to a significant increase in plasma concentration of ccfDNA (P&lt;0.0024) in primary PCa patients. By calculating the minor allele fraction at patient-specific somatic mutations pre- and post-biopsy, we show that ctDNA is significantly enriched (from 3.9 to 164 fold) after biopsy, representing a transient &ldquo;molecular window&rdquo; to access and analyze ctDNA. Moreover, we show that newly released ccfDNA contains a larger fraction of di-, tri- and multi-nucleosome associated DNA fragments. This feature could be exploited to further enrich prostate-derived ccfDNA and to analyze epigenetic markers.&nbsp;Our data represent a proof-of-concept that liquid tumor profiling from peripheral blood performed just after the biopsy procedure can open a &ldquo;valuable molecular metastatic window&rdquo; giving access to the tumor genetic asset, thus providing an opportunity for early cancer detection and individual genomic profiling in the view of PCa precision medicine.</p>
